"<No, it's ok... I mean, I already knew of this so it wasn't as sudden as it could be and... Well... You're probably my best friend in all of this group so... I guess... Maybe... We could...>" said Seth, losing any hint of composure he might've had.
-Bishop can't help but smile slightly at Seth's faltering composure.-
Bishop: <Go on a date together? Needless to say, I would like that very much. Not that I have any idea where we would start, however.>
"<... Sure. You're going to be disappointed if you think I have any ideas though...>" said Seth, still fairly awkward.
-Bishop glances around.-
Bishop: <I'm sure it can't be that difficult. Other couples seem to be able to think of things to do together on a fairly regular basis. Um, if referring to us as a "couple" isn't too forward, that is.>
"<Maybe a bit too soon, yes. Most areas in this city were made with human couples in mind though, not with a pair of Scizor.>"
-Bishop squirms apologetically.-
Bishop: <Right. Um... well, if you want to get away from the city, we could always head out onto one of the routes.>
"<That seems like a good idea actually. I'm up for it.>"
-Eskay's smile fades, and he looks down.-
Eskay: ...She literally lost the ability to feel love. Any sort of affection.
-Bishop brightens considerably.-
Bishop: <Good to hear. I suppose we should be on our way, then.>
-He starts heading over to one of the route gates.-
"O-Oh..." said Sakura, trailing off for a moment "... I'm so sorry."
Seth simply follows after Bishop, seemingly lost in thought.
-After a few minutes of walking in silence, Bishop leads Seth out onto the route, looking around and taking in the local scenery.-
Bishop: <The people here certainly put some effort into making sure that the routes are well-maintained, don't they?>
"<The routes here are certainly much more pretty and fancy than in the other regions, that can't be denied.>" said Seth, glancing around the area "<It's peaceful as well, guess Kalos's routes are just as perfect for a Pokémon to relax in as it's cities are for humans.>"
Eskay: ...We've managed to move on. It's not like she can't still like people, it's just...
-He sighs, shakes his head, and smiles at Sakura-
Eskay: We're okay now. And... now here we are.
-Bishop smiles.-
Bishop: <You keep saying that places have nothing to do with romance, but I feel far more relaxed and at-ease here than I ever did in Orre.>
"Is that so..." said Sakura, pensive as she drank a bit of coffee "... Are you sure staying with me will make you feel happier?"
"<That might be because there isn't an organization aiming to either kill or corrupt us into killing machines here in Kalos.>" said Seth, with a shrug "<This scenary does make me feel relaxed though, just looking at it makes me want to lie down and sleep.>"
-Bishop chuckles slightly despite himself.-
Bishop: <That might have something to do with it, yes... anyway, following on from your comment, perhaps we could simply just rest here for a while rather than doing anything particularly strenuous?>
"<Seems like a good idea for me.>" said Seth, with a small smile
Bishop: <Same here. I suppose we ought to give it a try, then.>
-He lies down on the grass and closes his eyes.-
"<Right then.>"
Seth then lies down and closes his eyes, before taking a deep breath
"<... By the way... I never really thought I'd have someone with a crush on me at any point in my life until it actually happened, so... Why do you have a crush on me?>"
-Bishop answers without looking over at Seth, now somewhat thankful for his natural colouration.-
Bishop: <Well, I... it will sound rather silly when I try to explain it, I can tell. At first, it was a primarily physical thing - I was only nine months purified, and still unaccustomed to dealing with my own hormones. But once I looked past the shallow physical attraction, I realised there was something more behind it. Whilst I cannot describe you as particularly affectionate - no offence meant, of course - you are stolid, dependable, and willing to provide a shoulder for a friend in need. People tend to forget that even individuals such as myself need someone to lean on from time to time.>
-He gives another small chuckle.-
Bishop: <My apologies. That sounded considerably less lame when I was running through it in my head.>
Seth chuckles a bit
"<Taking both the scientific and emotional approach huh? Well... It's nice to hear that coming from someone else. Thanks for that.>"
He then pauses for a minute as he tries to arrange his thoughts
"<You know... I thought our orientations were incompatible, but I guess we're more compatible than I thought at first.>"
Eskay: I'm... hopeful. Hopeful that we can make this work.
-Bishop looks over at Seth.-
Bishop: <You think so? I'd hate to pressure you into anything... after all, the idea of entering a relationship with a female holds very little appeal to me. It would be only natural for you to feel similarly regarding same-sex relations.>
"So am I..."
Sakura then drinks some more coffee and then it looks like her mood did a total 180 as she perks up
"Sooo! You feeling like going to the Prism Tower later?" she asked, smiling
"<I dunno really. I feel very... Conflicted, I guess that's the word I'm looking for.>"
-Bishop nods.-
Bishop: <Again, perfectly understandable. It is not as if we are committing to anything just yet, after all. I suppose we could consider this little sojourn a trial run of sorts.>
