[spoiler]It's pretty much like the Crewebert thread, only more. Feel free to start new strands with any other hypothetical ships. :P
-Eskay is pacing along the beach. He looks around.-
Eskay: She said she'd be here...
-there is a sudden flash of tan that flies past Eskay, and Crewe is suddenly dumped on the sand as Clockwise banks and flies off-
Clockwise: <By silly!> ^_^
-Crewe sits up, spluttering as she spits out sand-
Phbbbb... Clockwise !
-she looks up at Eskay and gets to her feet, brushing sand out of her hair-
Uh, hi, Eskay.
-Eskay sweatdrops at Clockwise's chosen method of delivering Crewe, but manages a smile as she gets up-
Eskay: There you are. Are you okay?
-Crewe brushes sand off her pants-
Bleh. Sand is not the tastiest of substances.
-she straightens up-
But it's pretty soft, at least. I'm okay.
What's up?
Eskay: Oh, you know. I figured we could so something date-y now that we're... well, dating.
So you decided we should go for a walk on the beach? That's adorable.
-she smiles and takes his hand-
Sure, I'm game.
-Eskay smiles a bit more confidently as Crewe takes his hand-
Eskay: Adorable's what I was going for. I guess I'm doing something right.
I'm glad. We should have at least one adorable person in this relationship.
-she looks around-
... Y'know, this beach is kinda lame.
Sparkers is waiting patiently for Valorie at the beach.
Valorie, being as self-conscious as ever, totally had to go back and wash off any makeup she was wearing; the extra time it took to wash that off and put on a little bit of her waterproof variety was well worth averting a complete and utter fashion disaster that would take far longer to emotionally get over.
She did show however, finally arriving in a lavender skirted one piece bathing suit. Valorie threw a hand up in the air, waving as she jogged a bit to close the distance between the two of them
<Val!>
Sparkers ran up to meet her and gave her a little lick on the cheek. Sparkers...looked like Sparkers, barring his jacket.
<I'm glad you showed up, I have somethin' to tell you...>
Eskay: Hey, there's no saying you can't be adorable.
-He glances around as well-
Eskay: Hmm... maybe you have a better idea what to do? I've got no other ideas.
Nuh-uh. I am decidedly un-adorable.
-she looks around again-
... Nope. I'm not good at ideas.
-she watches the shoreline for a little bit-
... Do you know how to skip stones?
Valorie was licked, unable to help herself but smile at the affection. She totally leans up on her tip toes to give Sparkers an affectionate hug in return.
"Of course I came..!" she replied, giggling slightly at the implication she would've left him waiting. "What is it, Sparkers?" she then proceeded to ask all curious-like.
< Well we've gotten rather close these last few days, and I've developed...feelin's...>
He bashfully looks down to the ground, blushing.
<I-I think I love you.>
Valorie's eyes just sort of widen and she gawks up at Sparkers. She appeared to be frightened like a dear in headlights, just sort of searching for and failing to find words. After a long moment she cups her hands in front of her, turning a bashful pink color and lowering her gaze.
"Well--I love you too Sparkers, but you don't mean... that way do you?" she asked sheepishly. One didn't need PSI empathy to observe that she had no idea how to react to this.
<Of course I love you that way . I know it might bee weird, a 'mon lovin' a human, but it's happened before and I can't help but have these feelin's for you.>
-Eskay smirks-
Eskay: You just keep telling yourself that.
-He looks out toward the ocean-
Eskay: It's been forever since I've tried, but I still know the gist of it.
-He picks up a smooth rock and tosses it into the water. It skips just once before sinking.
Valorie just sort of raises a hand, balling it into a fist and covering her mouth with it to try and hide her expression. A billion thoughts raced through her head and she nervously looked back and fourth between Sparkers and a particularly interesting tree in the distance.
"I... I don't know what to say..." she ever so quietly responded, digging the tip of one of her feet into the sand anxiously. It felt wrong to refuse him, knowing how close they were, and yet she was overwhelmed!
-Lina is waiting for someone here-
-Said someone isn't that far behind-
H-Hey Lina.
Smooth Tagg, why don't you ask her if she'd like to ride your Salamence while you're at it?
Lina: -smirks- Hey Tagg.
You've known Lina for, what, nearly two years now, this ought to be easy. Just a girl who's centuries older than you and has probably had numerous consorts over that time compared to you.
T-This is a pretty nice beach, don't you think?
Lina: -looks out to sea- Yeah...
Bah. I am a feral animal and you know it.
-she watches Eskay skip a stone, then picks one up for herself. She tosses it up and down a few times, then tries to sink it-
-it lands with a plop and sinks-
… Nope.
