Roof

-Iulianus and the Peons step onto the roof.-

-RedEyes!Zeal glances over at Alice. His eyes turn green.-

Zeal: What... have you...

-Prisoner laughs. Zeal's eyes turn red once again, and the laughter stops.-

RedEyes!Zeal: You...

-RedEyes!Zeal punches Prisoner in the face, cracking her orange mask. A few of the Peons rush to her aid.-

RedEyes!Zeal: You...!

-He escapes from the grip of a Peon who tries to restrain him. The Peon pulls out a knife, but RedEyes!Zeal quickly knocks the weapon out of his hands. RedEyes!Zeal grabs the knife and stabs Prisoner in the chest. Iulianus stares, wide-eyed.-

Prisoner: ...You...

-She falls to the ground, and with her remaining energy, releases the rest of her Pokémon from their balls. She snaps one last time, and all four use Explosion at once.-

-Alice is just about able to see RedEyes!Zeal stab Prisoner from her position on the ground even as her vision starts to blur, and her eyes widen in shock.-

Alice: You...

-She then hears the explosions and closes her eyes, curling up into as tight a ball as she can manage.-

-For the most part, the entire building is now on fire.-

Room

-Iulianus, RedEyes!Zeal, and Prisoner's body fall from the roof into the same room.-

Iulianus: You're a monster.

-RedEyes!Zeal stares at Iulianus.-

RedEyes!Zeal: ...I don't deny it.

Iulianus: Why? Why would you...?

-Iulianus kneels next to Prisoner's body.-

Iulianus: That's it. I cannot take anymore of this. I'm not going to let you take anyone else from me... SEE?!

-He takes the knife out of Prisoner's chest, and wildly charges at Zeal.-

-Lanie is trapped beneath a fallen bookshelf.-
