Mega Pinsir. It's Bug/Flying-type. Its ability is Aerilate which turns Normal-type moves into Flying-type moves. Courtesy of serebii.net webmaster.
Whimsicott is now apparently Grass/Fairy type. Wonder how Eli will react this.
Sunburst: <Well, seems all three of us are dual typed now.>
Candida: <Yay!>
Eli: <T-Thanks, but... I'm still a little freaked out about this... I mean, how would either of you feel if you woke up one morning and discovered you'd gained a new type?> (shudders) <Oh, the poison attacks will hurt even more now...>
Sunburst: <Hmm... I can see that being a disadvantage, but...> (grins) <It also has some advantages, right?>
- At some point later in time -
- A dragon type Pokémon is repeatedly firing Dragon Pulse attacks at Eli, growing increasingly confused as the attacks fail to harm him in any way -
Eli: (sort of just stands there with a stunned look as the Dragon Pulse attacks keep hitting him without doing any damage to him)
Sunburst: (proudly as she watches Eli) <That's my big brother!>
Chile apparently gets Marine Vivillon.
Oh, forgot to mention in my previous post: Clefable confirmed to be pure Fairy type.
Also, seems to be something interesting going on with Looker in the post-game, according to Serebii's discovery thread.
(interestingly, the fourth case reminds me a bit of something that is actually happening in-RP)
Also, the description for the Ghost move Trick-or-Treat apparently actually involving taking the opponent trick-or-treating amuses me, and makes me wonder just how we're translating that one into RP battles.
Random Gourgeist: (grabs a J-Team member's Pokémon during a battle after its trainer tells it to use said move) <Come on, let's go get some candy!>
J-Team member's Pokémon: (is dragged off) <But it's not even Halloween!>
- Several minutes later, both trainers are looking rather confused as to where their Pokémon went off to in the middle of their battle, when they eventually both return, carrying a big bag of candy between them -
Random Gourgeist: <Wasn't that fun?>
J-Team Pokémon: <... I have no idea what just happened.> @_@
Ooh @ MegaBanette
MegaPinsir seems fairly terrifying.
Also, MegaHeracross
And huh at Looker stuff. I would be strangely interested in having Crow do something somewhat related to that if possible.
Mega Heracross has been revealed. Looks kind of robotic to me.
Mega Heracross looks like he could knock down a mountain if he tried hard enough, considering what REGULAR Heracross can do ~.~
For some reason, especially after DS's comment, I look at MegaCross, and all I see is Franky from One Piece.
Ren can now have a full team of 6 Mega Evos
Side note: Ren will refer to Copperfield as "the Spoony Beard".
DS/anybody: can we get a link to the Looker thing?
I don't get it...
Flareon can learn Flare Blitz.
And there it is then. Flareon got a new toy.
How many mega Evos can one use per battle? I assume one but I forget if I imagined that or not.
Verax: One per battle.
Keys: Ah thank you. And thank goodness. The idea of someone having an entire team go Mega sounds ridiculously broken.
And also it seems Ralts is not version exclusive, so now I think I'm getting Y tomorrow as planned.
Verax: Though I'm personally hoping that in fight for your life circumstances IRP it can happen.
Flareon finally gets Flare Blitz? Good for him/her, I guess!
Also, Mega Alakazam and Mega Houndoom look pretty cool, I guess. I suppose I might be a bit concerned about what might happen if certain RP Pokémon of those species might gain access to those powers, though. I also find having Houndoom be exclusive to one game, while the Mega Stone needed for it to Mega Evolve is exclusive to the other game a bit of an odd move, but I guess not too unexpected, in a way.
