Dune is kinda getting screwed over in the Mega Evolution department. Poor guy's only got Champloo the Lucario... and that's about it. Unless of course they have a Mega Magnezone hidden in there somewhere.
There could be a bunch of Mega Stones you have to wait until after the E4 to get.
Yeah, the Mega Evolutions aren't counted in the dex as new mons, so there's likely more than what we've seen.
Straw currently could potentially have Mega Absol and Mega Venusaur.
Rawst could have Mega Gyarados.
And it's possible for Nicole to have Mega Charizard X/Y... but she'd have to appear, and Tahu would need to evolve, which I have no plans to do.
Umbra: Mega Lucario, Mega Garchomp, Mega Gengar, Mega Gyarados
Lina: Mega Lucario, Mega Garchomp, Mega Blaziken
Ammy: A few rumored Megas, hopefully including herself.
Arika: None yet.
Nico: Mega Gardevoir
I'm assuming that Mega Gallade is a thing, too.
I guess that Poison legendary of Silent's is still going to have to continue fighting its way into canon.
Darn. Though we still don't know the non-mascot Legendary Trio. Or event legendaries.

I doubt we'll know what the event legendaries are for a long time. Unless someone manages to successfully get into the game's code.
And even then, they could just patch it in.
Ooh, useful.
If it has a similar mon line up to Power Gem, then we might be seeing some very strange mons using that move.

Apparently the second Professor, Patrice, gives you the Johto starters. And each of them have mega evolutions. This isn't confirmed yet.
I'm assuming this means all generations of starters have Mega Evolutions. After all, I doubt they'd stop at Generation III, even with the very real possibility of threemakes.

Um... Kind of a derail, but...
This is still a bit up in the air until we know more about them, but I am heavily considering using Xerneas and Yveltal for a spoilery personal plot in Kalos, somewhat similar to an attribute reveal. However, given they're Legendaries, I'd like to ask your all's permission first.
So, is that OK, not OK, or should I wait until we know more about them?
I'd personally wait. We don't know how they're relevant to their own in-game plot yet.
