Yeah, I was thinking of Siren having a Gardevoirite, since according to one review, there's a Mega Gardevoir. I'm also considering Mega Charizard X for Jet, though that one's not as likely to happen.

And certain Ciphers could very well have Megas, yes, though I thought the climax would be a bit later in November. And I doubt Shadow mons can go Mega with the whole friendship aspect.

Umbra:Actually, friendship is not a requirement. The Mega Evolution tutorial has you mega evolve Korrina's Lucario in a Lucario vs. Lucario match.

The fact that Shadows can't Evolve, however, makes me doubt Mega!Shadows work thematically either.
(Plus, depending on the game's actual text, the RP may choose a Vow-based explanation anyhow)
