Tyler: -heads in what is likely East-

-Tessa hurries to overtake them, hitching her bag more securely onto her shoulder and fumbling inside it for a Pokeball-

-Tessa reaches the edge of the land and pulls out a Pokeball, pressing the button and releasing a Lapras into the water-

Jason: -tosses his head back, as if tossing his hair- <You called?>

Tessa: Jason, we need to get across to the mainland.

Jason: -looks over the group and heaves a dramatic sigh- <Very well, if you insist. But there so many of you.>

Tessa: Hop aboard, guys.

-jumps on Jason-

-Tessa climbs aboard as well, and Jason takes off, swimming quickly towards the near shore of mainland Sinnoh-

-as they near the far shore, the sea begins to... flicker-

Jason: <Oh, dear. Oh, not this.>

Tessa: -looks up from her camera, where she's been studying the picture of the map, to see the water flicker for a longer time, causing Jason to fall some ways before it reappears. Her eyes widen- Oh no... This is a common glitch, I've read about it, the sea, it just--

-she's cut off by Jason's loud cry as the sea disappears altogether, sending Jason and his passengers hurtling towards the bottom of the (thankfully shallow) bay-

-Jason lands with a squeal, and Tessa recalls him, panting, then looks ahead at the steep bank leading up to the shore in front of them-

Tessa: Uggh... Does anyone have a Pokemon that can help here?

Tyler: I guess that works.

-Merle, deciding that this is not worth waiting for, flies up. Wraith follows-

Yeah. Alright, Cieth, Stone Edge on that slope.

-Cieth is called out landing his feet into the sand, while spraying various stones up the slope, creating a pathway to climb up-
