Helmaroc: I guess I'm gonna be stuck dealing with this guy, then.
-She rushes toward Kroptor.-
Kroptor: And of course the emo Ho-oh impersonator decides to try and fight me. This is ridiculous.
-He sends out three mons: a Floatzel, a Toxicroak, and a Carnivine.-
Kroptor: Kill her.
Helmaroc: Yeah, um, no.
-She switches to Honchkrow form and crashes into all three of them as they jump on her.-
Helmaroc used Brave Bird!▾
-At a currently unoccupied part of the base, a Garchomp pops out from underneath the floor, a Bronzor following out quickly-
Finn: <Assuming I didn't get the location wrong again, this should be the HQ.>
-Crow flies out of the hole-
Triton: <Great. Thanks, Finn.>
Finn: <You know it was a pain to pick you up from Oblivia. We would have gotten here much sooner if you guys had stuck around Almia a bit longer.>
Triton: <Well, let's hope we're not too late.>
Finn: <Yeah, you go find Titan, I'll go help whatever other grunts are around.>
-Crow nods, then he heads off one direction, while Finn goes another, Persephone following-
-Titan sends out Omega and Sidious whilst Lucius sends out Kirk and Bishop.-
Bishop: <...This is it, then? Our final confrontation?>
Omega: <Not if I can help it. If you want to put an end to Titan, then you're going to have to put an end to me first. I'm not going to let his flame be extinguished here.>
Titan: Omega, lead with a Heat Wave. Sidious, I want you to-
Sidious: ~No.~
-There is silence on the battlefield for a brief moment.-
Titan: ...What?
Sidious: ~You heard me. Why should I follow the orders of a simple human incapable of keeping order amongst those he is supposed to rule over? Do not think I haven't noticed your recent weakness. Not only are you now allowing yourself to be ruled by feeble sentimentality, you allowed those who were supposed to be your pawns take advantage of your weakened state. Pathetic. A far cry from the stoic warrior who pried my Pokeball from his own brother's corpse.~
Titan: Cease this pointless interruption immediately. I will not allow you a mere animal such as yourself to disobey me at such a pivotal moment.
Sidious: ~"Mere animal"? This "mere animal" could crush your skull and shatter your bones with but a thought. The only reason I have refrained from doing so up until this point is because you proved yourself strong enough to control a superior being such as myself. Now that same strength has long since disappeared. I am my own master now.~
Titan: Enough of this insolence! I will not allow myself to be usurped again! Omega, destroy him!
Omega: <Finally. I've been suppressing the urge to burn him to a crisp for over three decades now.>
-She starts to gather flames in her hands, but before she can launch an attack, Sidious disappears with a blip... only to reappear immediately behind her. In one swift movement, he grabs her by the skull, and before any of the battle's other participants can react snaps her neck to the side with a sickening crack.-
Titan: OMEGA!
-Blinded by rage, he throws himself at Sidious, but the Alakazam vanishes with another blip before he can be reached. Omega's limp form collapses, and Titan falls to his knees to catch her, cradling her in his arms as the Auric Avenger looks on in shock.-
Titan: No... Omega...
-Crow happens to arrive at the point where Sidious attacks-
Triton: <...What's going o->
-He sees Sidious blip off and Titan holding Omega in his arms-
Murcrow: <Uh...>
I should be getting close. Senshi, keep up the healing, OK?
-The Gardevoir nods...then he hears the snap.-
Please don't...huh?
-He stops.-
Return...everyone...
-And for once, the Emperor opts to stay quiet. A moment of silence for the fallen.-
Shieldmaiden: ... Oh, Arceus...
-she pulls her helmet off and hesitantly approaches Titan, reaching out to touch his shoulder-
Shieldmaiden: Titan... ?
As Shingeko runs, he hears Titan's anguished scream and stops on his tracks
"... What happened?" he asked, worried.
"It seems you're more ignorant than I thought."
Shieldmaiden, Crow and Lucius might spot Allen slowly approaching the scene, followed by a Gallade and a Zoroark.
-Gekkobi just listens for a moment-
"That... Was that Titan? That sounded bad"
-The Auric Avenger appears to have no idea how to react. After seconds that seem to stretch on for hours, he finally recalls his Pokemon and steps towards the kneeling Titan, his voice wavering with uncertainty.-
The Auric Avenger: ...Titan... I...
Titan: ...You can save her.
The Auric Avenger: ...What?
-Titan looks up at the Avenger and Shieldmaiden, his eyes wild with desperation.-
Titan: You can still save her. Her Aura is fading rapidly, but in spite of all odds, she still clings to life... she has only minutes left, perhaps less. If you were to get her somewhere safe... a hospital, perhaps, or one of your PEFE facilities... they may yet be able to save her. Do this and I will willingly submit myself to whatever authority you wish to have pass judgement upon me without resistance. Her life is all that matters to me now. Please... save her...
-The Auric Avenger considers Titan's plea for several long moments, seemingly deeply conflicted. So deeply conflicted, in fact, that he doesn't even acknowledge Allen's presence.-
-Helmaroc regains her balance after having crashed into the trio of mons.-
Kroptor: So you turn into a beast, then. That makes things easier. Floatzel, Ice Beam.
-Floatzel snarls and spits a beam of coldness at Helmaroc.-
Helmaroc: <Ack!>
-She stumbles out of the way, but the beam hits the tip of her wing.-
Helmaroc: <Gah... fine, then, take this!>
-She Thunder Waves the Floatzel, who staggers slightly.-
Floatzel: <Gah... weak.>
Kroptor: I expected more. Carnivine, restrain her so we can deal with this quickly.
-Carnivine hisses with satisfaction, grabbing Helmaroc with vines.-
Carnivine: <Ssssso young, ssssso weak...>
-Helmaroc squirms in the Carnivine's grip.-
-Crewe looks up at the Avenger-
Crewe: What are you even thinking about?! Chad! I need help!
-the Xatu appears-
Crewe: Hospital--we need--
Chad: <Yessir. I know.>
-he teleports those present away, Crewe just barely having time to pull her helmet back on-
-they arrive here. Shieldmaiden immediately starts yelling with a rather panicked tone-
Shieldmaiden: Hey! Somebody! This Infernape needs help right now!
-Crow notices Allen, and his comment is heard, making him somewhat angry, though doesn't acknowledge him as his attention is turned to the Avenger-
Murcrow: -somewhat angrier than he intended- <...Isn't saving peoplemons what you->
-He is then blipped here by Chad-
Murcrow: <-d...>
<...>
-He decides it would be better to just stay quiet and let the hospital staff do their work-
-The Emperor watches the goings on in silence.-
Dear Arceus...I...I never thought I'd see...that..tonight...
-Helmaroc struggles against the vines as the Carnivine grins.-
Carnivine: <You ssssshall not essssscape that easssssily.>
-He tightens his grip.-
Kroptor: Now kill her.
Carnivine: <Don't worry... it'll be sssssslow.>
-With another vine, he lashes at Helmaroc, leaving a decent-sized cut.-
Helmaroc: <...This won't turn out well.>
-A bit of blood drips on the Carnivine... and in a glow of odd light, there isn't a Carnivine there anymore.-
Murkrow!Carnivine: <Wha-->
-He squawks, flailing wildly in panic. Helmaroc takes the opportunity to rush to safety.-
Kroptor: ...Hm. So there's more up their sleeves than I anticipated.
-He sighs in exasperation before recalling all three of his mons, including the ex-flytrap, and continuing on his path toward the door.-
-It takes a few moments for the hospital staff to understand the gravity of the situation, given that the sudden arrival of a pair of superheroes and a Neo-Galactic member causes quite a hubbub, but Omega is soon laid out on a stretcher by a team of EMTs and hurried into an emergency ward. Titan moves to run after her, but pauses briefly and turns to face the others that were teleported in with him.-
Titan: ...Thank you. All of you. I cannot repeat that enough.
-With that, he takes off down the corridor in the hope of monitoring Omega's condition. The Auric Avenger simply collapses into one of the chairs in the waiting room, an almost mournful expression hidden beneath his mask.-
-Shieldmaiden watches Titan go, then moves to stand over the Avenger, retracting the claws on her gauntlets-
Shieldmaiden: ... I'd punch you, but it's a bit public here. So I guess I'll have to save that for later.
-The Emperor stands in silence still as the group teleports away. He turns his helmeted gave to Allen briefly.-
Allen just watches as everybody in front of him teleports away, he hears some footsteps and notices Shingeko approaching, likely with Gekkobi.
"I see the ninja who defeated Titan, not very stealthy today, yes?" he said as he looked at them.
"So, I guess there's an admin left still." said Shingeko.
Allen then looks at the three heroes, while keeping a calm composure "Three of you against one of me, that's hardly a fair fight."
-Crow heads to check on Omega as well-
Blue Emperor:-somewhat harshly-That depends which side has favor.
-Yes the voice may sound silly, but he dropped the faux accent.-
-The Avenger sighs, any fight in him having long since departed.-
The Auric Avenger: ...We shouldn't be here. Not whilst we're still in costume. You should head back to the cave. Tell the others what happened, assuming they're still there. I... I can't go back. I need some time alone... some time to think about things...
-He sends out Maul, who dutifully blips him elsewhere.-
-Of course with Gekkobi, who looks at the admin-
"Different job today. So which on of these "Admins" are you anyway?"
Shieldmaiden: ... Arceus, why does he always have to get so depressed when I'm mad at him? It makes yelling at him really hard.
Chad: <To the cave, then?>
Shieldmaiden: No... I'll send out a text. We'll meet up tomorrow.
Chad: <Yessir. The airship, then?>
Shieldmaiden: ... Yeah.
-blip!
"My current job isn't relevant to this, in fact..."
The Emperor might notice that neither Allen or his Pokémon's Aura are visible, though by that point it's too late as he might see for a split-second a Zoroark showing up behind Shingeko and slashing him with his claw, tearing out part of the costume. Shingeko lets out a scream of pain and before the Squad could react the Zoroark had disappeared again, and so did "Allen" and his Pokémon. Teishi quickly hold Shingeko before he could fall over.
"You two of all people should know letting yourself be distracted by trivial things can be dangerous."
Allen then shows himself further behind with his two Pokémon, this time they do have Auras.
"<You should bring your friend to a hospital, don't worry, I wasn't aiming to kill.>" said the Zoroark, nonchalantly
"Consider that a warning, I'm not someone you can beat through plain brute force." said Allen
Since the Emperor had returned all his Pokémon to their Pokéballs, this allows Allen to freely teleport away from the scene.
"U-Ugh... I can't believe I wasn't expecting this..." said Shingeko, weakly.
-The modulator glitches, dropping the funny voice.-
Jason:Bastard!
-Looks at Shingeko.-
Dammit! We got careless.
-Sends out Senshi-
Hold still, I can teleport us.
-And with a Blip!
-Jason and the others are here, conveniently stowing his helmet in his bag and leaving him in the blue suit.-
Jason:Hey! We need a doctor! My friend's hurt!
