Caroline snaps her fingers. "Young lady, you're not giving up that easy." Ellen can keep trying to walk off, but she'll note she's about 6 inches off the ground.
She smiles at Joe. "Ah! Well, good for her~"
She huggles Kate more. "Eeeee, you're just so cute, I can't even~ Would you guys like to stay for dance class? :3"
-both Joseph and Kate nod eagerly-
Yep! Lemme see if I can find her sister...
-he dashes off, leaving Kate to grin excitedly at Caroline-
Caroline twirls Kate, still balancing the book on her head. "You're going to be a lovely Gardevoir when you grow up~"
-Kate :D's at Caroline-
<I know! I can't wait! I wanna dance and sing, and maybe I could write music, and...>
-meanwhile, Joseph enters holding a squirming Kirlia-
Here she is!
Tori <Ugh! Dancing...>
-Ellen doesn't even attempt to flail out of Caroline's telekinesis. She merely slumps over and lets it happen. Sarah glances over at Caroline with a concerned look.-
Sarah: ~Something's really off today... now might be a really bad time to force this on her.~
Caroline sighs. ~We'll talk to her after her friends go home. I'm worried about her...~ She sets Ellen down.
-Phosphora finally makes it across the room, book on her head. She then, not being able to control her momentum, runs face-first into the padded walls and falling backward. She sprawls out on her back.-
Phosphora: Does... does that count? Because I don't think I could do that again...
Caroline ruffles Phosphora's hair. "Sure, kiddo. Break time."
She balances Kate on her head and walks to the center of the room.
-Kate squees. Tori rolls her eyes-
Kate: <Are you gonna teach me how to dance? Huh? Huh? :D>
Trinity: "Mostly, yeah. Working here keeps me busy. So much analyzing, so much updating. Jacob has a super busy schedule now. Do you know what happens when there's no good team in a region solving problems? Every issue that can't be handled by average people and that the gym leaders don't want to deal with go to the Champion, and I think he gets a lot of flak for what he did the first time..."
-Shakes her head- "Still. Jacob likes his new position. Keeps him busy. He's said he thinks he's trying a little too hard though. Recent additions to the Hall of Fame have gone down. His business keeps him from feeling the loneliness he would feel if he had time to think about it. He helped Aria get her trainer's license though, and he gets to fight the best trainers all the time. I think he's happy."
"And well, Argentum's working on a cyborg body for me. So hopefully I can truly be my own person eventually. But yeah. Also... I know I've said it a lot, but... thanks. For all your help with... well you know. Him. Me. The whole shpeel."
-Meanwhile! In the Library!-
-There are lots of books. As well as lots of little Aron and Larvitar scurrying around-
-Other than that it's mostly empty-
-Phosphora lifts her arms and limply flail them around.-
Phosphora: Yaaaaaaaaay~
Deziree: Heh, yeah, I guess not having a wander group of troubleshooters would cause a bit of a backup in proble-
-She stops. A sharp glint comes to her eye.-
Deziree: Did you say "cyborg body"?
Dune: Oh boy.
"It does seem like the kind of job Jacob would enjoy, even with all the drawbacks. But then again, all jobs have a drawback or two." said Duke
In the library, Jaden just looks around a bit.
"Aw man. There's only books and some Pokémon here. Let's go look somewhere else!"
Jaden then runs out of the library and Ace follows him. Though he isn't really paying attention to what's around him, so if there's anything breakable that he might stumble upon, he probably will.
Caroline smiles and nods~ "Yup~ Teaching peoplemons to dance is my job~" She levitates over a cooler full of snacks and drinks, and has Marceline port everyone to the middle.
-Kate hops off and takes a dancing ready position-
-Ellen sighs, and walks out of sight. Sarah sighs, then manages an only-partially-genuine smile at Phosphora-
Sarah: Yeah, you did it, kiddo. It takes practice, but you did well enough for today.
Caroline sweatdrops. "So eager~ We're taking a short break, sweetie, then we'll get back to dance lessons. My girls look exhausted."
-Kate pouts, but nods-
<OK!>
-Tori is sitting by the side, sulking. Joseph is by her-
Caroline levitates Tori. "Aren't you a grumpy one? What do you like doing, little one?"
-Tori headtilts at Caroline-
<Music. Battle. Reading. That sort of thing.>
Joseph: She's in a teenage sort of mindset.
-Bolter comes over and starts licking Phosphora's face, causing her to squeal as she tries pushing him away.-
Bolter: <You were funny, walking around like that!>
-Phosphora eventually hugs Bolter to her chest.-
Phosphora: I just hope Ellen feels okay. She's usually not this down.
Caroline smiles. "Oh! I teach all of those things too~ Well, not reading, I assume you know that by the time you come here, but... Er, no Sarah taught Ellen how to read. But Music and Battling, arts to be enjoyed as well~" She looks at Joe. "After dance class, care for a battle, for old time's sake?"
Trinity: -Looks at Duke- "Yeah, that is the gist. And he gets to help people all the time. That and he can say he is officially the strongest trainer in Hoenn. It makes him happy that whenever someone is being a bully or some new wannabe gang is springing up he can just waltz over and crush them before resuming what he was doing. I admit it's funny to read about too."
".... Uh... no? No cyborg bodies? Though Argentum is still trying to fix those gauntlets. For now they're just for looks. It seems using the Trinity Mirror to power a Reality Marble, aside from nearly killing Jacob, drained the divine power of the weapon. I'm not sure if he ever shared that, but that's what happened."
Jacob: "Enough story time. Come on let's go upstairs." -Walks up the stairs and out on to the terrace where he was earlier-
-Meanwhile-
-Jaden just happens to bump into, tip over, and destroy a large ornate vase-
Jacob: -Stops in his tracks- "...."
"..."
"...."
"If what I think just happened did just happen, not only is someone going to be spending the next several hours cleaning and rebuilding, they're going to be glued to a chaperon from now on."
-Joseph nods eagerly-
Yep!
-Tori thinks-
<Hmm...maybe, I guess.>
-Deziree seems severely deflated.-
Deziree: Aw. I love cybernetics... I don't get to make them often enough... I mean, my first one went so well...
-Dune pats Deziree before raising an eyebrow at Jacob.-
Dune: ... I get the feeling it was a good idea to visit while the kids are away.
Jaden and Ace just stare at the broken vase, which just happens to also be when Lyuri finds them.
"..."
Jaden stares back at her sheepishly for a few moments before starting to run as if his life depended on it, dragging Ace along. Lyuri simply gives chase while looking very angry.
"AAAAAH! DADDY! MOMMY IS GOING TO KILL ME! HELP!" he yelled.
Meanwhile:
"... Kids." said Duke, sweatdropping and with a somewhat nervous smile.
