Bah. Sitting around is never a waste of time unless you actually have something productive to do!
-she kisses his cheek-
You do make me feel a little better about it, though. Now is there something you want to do, or shall we just go right to the hotel?
-Herbert flushes red again.-
Herbert: I'm sure there's something productive we could be doing, I just can't be bothered to figure out what it is. Turns out that productivity takes effort. Ah well, I'm sure we can do something useful with ourselves tomorrow. For now, let's just head back to the hotel and hug pillows for a while.
-He starts heading towards the Hotel Richissime.-
-Crewe raises an eyebrow, walking along beside him-
Pillows? You want to hug pillows? Am I that unappealing?
Herbert: Well, a pillow's a lot softer and squidgier than you are. Presumably. I haven't had the chance to do a comprehensive comparison or anything, though, so I could be mistaken.
-He arrives at the Hotel Richissime and heads up into his room, where a rather curious-looking Bishop greets him by raising the Scizor equivalent of an eyebrow.-
-Crewe snickers-
I'll take that as a compliment. I'm warmer than a pillow, though.
-she gives Bishop an awkward wave-
Uh, hi, Bishop. Mind if I sleep here tonight?
-Bishop looks Crewe up and down for a few moments, an unreadable expression on his face.-
Bishop: <...That should be fine, yes. I think I can trust the two of you to be responsible. And if it turns out that I am mistaken... well, I'm certain that I can find a way to remedy the situation.>
-He buzzes out of the room, shutting the door behind him.-
Herbert: ...I think that might have been a threat on my life, but I can't be sure.
-He flops down onto the bed.-
... Um, thanks, Bishop.
-she kicks her shoes off and hops onto the bed beside Herbert-
Or a threat on mine.
-she flops back, turning her head to give Herbert a cheeky grin-
But we'll be very responsible, won't we, Herbert?
-Herbert goes bright red.-
Herbert: Don't tempt me. The last thing I want is a pissed-off Scizor out to paralyse me from the waist down.
-He closes his eyes.-
-Crewe laughs-
Of course, of course.
-she crawls over and kisses his forehead-
G'night, Herbert.
-Herbert gives a small smile and wraps his arm around Crewe.-
Herbert: Night, Crewe. And thanks for... well, just thanks, I guess.
-It only takes a matter of moments for him to doze off, snoring lightly.-
-Crewe smiles-
No problem, Herbert.
-she settles down beside him and falls asleep with her head on his shoulder-
