Topic: Villain Test
I previously showed this to Tracer, but I figured his would be a good place to show everyone else, as it won't necesarrily be canon if I screw up. Anyway, this is a test run of two characters I plan on running in RtAU and beyond. They're loosely based on two characters from Tsubasa, which are loosely based on two characters from X/1999. Note the "looselys"- don't let those charas color your perception of these.
Now, on with the story:
AU, Somewhere
A man walked carefully through the hallways of an ancient temple, looking around for any vengeful guardians like Claydol or Cofagrigus. Finding none, he continued onward until he reached a round room with Unown script and various pictures etched along the walls.
Studying the glyphs, the man seemed to come to a sudden revelation.
“My Arceus, I was right! There’s a weapon created by the ancients that can URRRK!”
He was cut off by a Garchomp using its powerful jaws to snap his neck from behind.
The man’s corpse fell to the ground with a thud; instead of devouring its kill, however, the Garchomp just stared at the body with its species’ equivalent of a frown.
“It’s a shame. He was rather intuitive…”
A Flygon hovered in from behind the Garchomp.
“Well, “ the Flygon said with a shrug, “that was the problem, wasn’t it? He knew too much?”
“Well, if we had more minds like his on our side it would certainly be a help… then again, he is a human. In other words, the enemy.“
The Flygon smirked. “Pretty much.”
The Garchomp prodded the dead human with his foot. “There was one worthwhile human we know of… and look what happened to her for her efforts.”
The Flygon’s smirk disappeared, and he hung his head sadly.
“Let’s not dwell on that, though, Fuuma.” said the Garchomp. “We have to focus on our goal. If we accomplish it, there won’t be any more humans to screw everything over. ”
Fuuma nodded. “Right, Seshirou.”
“Always remember: what we’re doing will make the world a better place.”
The Flygon grinned. “You say that enough that I’m pretty sure it’s etched into my brain by now.”
They both laughed, but in a rather reserved manner.
Seshirou prodded the body with his clawed foot again.
“I suppose we should bury him. It’s what they do for their dead, right?”
“They do. “
“Take him outside, then.”
Fuuma grabbed the corpse in his claws and flew off.
Seshirou looked back at the runes.
“For them, it may be an apocalypse. To us, it’s the dawn of a better world.”
