Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

What do you mean by other mental-based abilities? I thought you already stated that Psychic effects don't work on him.

27

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Probably. Not to Mind Of Crystal-extent stuff, though.

My girlfriend is a Volcarona, your argument is invalid.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Well, I was mostly asking about non-Psychic mental-effect abilities. Like the Gold Speech or... some... other stuff that I can't think of right now.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Double Post because now I have

~Another Question!~

So, are there multiple Genesect, like in the anime/movies? Are they all gathered into one group, or are there some that are loners? What kind of personalities would they have?

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Given that the Tree of Beginning is a thing in the RP, there's no reason why there can't be some Original!Genesect still living in secluded environments somewhere. As for Cyber!Genesect, I don't really know what to think as I am not even informed about how the thing goes in the anime/movies.

Thou hast forgotten the face of thy Lord. Remember, mortal, and fear pet me.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Original!Genesect seems like a bit of a can of worms, though, especially since we've never seen one. I'd rather stick to the Cybers, at least for now.

I've got another question, but I think I'll let this one build up a couple more responses.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

There are multiple Genesect, just like there's multiple Mews, Shaymin, etc.

33

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Interesting. I still have no idea when one would decently show up IRP since they really have no context In-Game besides "Plasma made them, and one of the scientists still has some of his drives".

~New Question!~

What happens to spirits of the dead if they decide that they're content and don't go back as an egg or a Ghost-Type? Is it possible, if they're still able to learn about the current day, for them to communicate to the living in any way?

34

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

A lot of the afterlife stuff, if you aren't coming back, is left intentionally ambiguous.

For Cubone at least, it seems their dead live in tribes in the Dream World, though it's a little flip-floppy if they are the actual spirits or materialized memories of them.

Sanity is precious; use it sparingly.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Yeah, the Spirit Games are the only thing you'll really see of the Spirit World, and I'd rather keep it that way.

However, dead people can communicate with the living via dreams and such.

My girlfriend is a Volcarona, your argument is invalid.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Like the ghost things that look more like holograms from Star Wars.

<Whatchu lookin at, PUNK?>

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

-Dusts off the thread.-

Hey everybody! I've got a question!

How often do Legendaries communicate with one another, on average? I would imagine that, while Groudon and Yveltal don't have much in terms of portfolio crossover, they at least get together once every few centuries at a meeting to make sure everything is moving smoothly.

But still, just a hairs curious!

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

There's the Council held at the Hall of Origin.

39

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Next question is, how often is this Council held? :P

[Spectrum was here!]

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Yeah, that was kinda what I was wondering.

I mean, I'm sure Heatran must have skipped at least one meeting over the thousand-year self-imposed exile of his.

Re: Dune's "How the Eff would that work?" Thread

Probably on a once a year/6 months basis, with emergency sessions when needed.
