Point of no return!

I have now finished the Gollop Chamber, and am now about to use it. I have four Psi-troopers: Mezzo, Pent, and (oddly enough) Every and Herbert.

Who will the volunteer be?!

Hell, I dunno.

PS: Dogs has a trooper as well, he's a reserve heavy.

UPDATE: The Volunteer is Mezzo! Was there any doubt?

What happened to me when you started the second playthrough?

Also, I think you might have inflated my already-massive ego with "Rex hit the max rank of Colonel, and is officially one of the most Badass men on Earth. " Considering how egotistical I already am, not quite such a good idea.

...That doesn't mean you should send me on suicide missions, either.

Oh God this last mission is hard!

So, I've been dark for a while for one big reason: I'm having trouble with this last mission!

Because Mezzo is the Volunteer, she must not die. However, the RNG has it out for her. She may be immune to Crits, but she keeps getting stuck in ridiculous situations like having two berserkers flanking her and no aid in line of sight.

My last attempt saw Umbra getting Mind Controlled and OneShotting poor Mezzo from across the map.

It might be a bit before I can finish it due to my college move and all.

Also, Gamer: You came back, again as a Heavy. You're on the training squad right now, and as it happens were also the first to use the glorious Blaster Launcher. You're also my Guinea pig for a solely defensive heavy spec, so you've been in situations that I honestly didn't expect anyone to come home from (like a berserker bursting through a wall with two mutons throwing grenades in from behind him).
