Igneous falls to the exit side of the chamber.

Igneous: <Good for nothing potato...>

Oh no. It was her.

She had somehow managed to get back into the system and was now vying for control of his facility!

AND she had called him a moron!

Cornn: "I! AM! NOT! A! MORON!!!"

Stratus and Lake's chamber

As he's about to leave, Stratus is surprised to see Igneous suddenly drop in from nowhere.

Stratus: <OH!

...Did she get you too?>

Test Chamber

Igneous: <Yeah... Here, he didn't take any of my stuff.>

He pulls out a Revive for Lake

Igneous: <And also, there was a little bit of stuff I found in storage...>

He reaches into his hammerspace... and reveals Lake's scarf and bag.

Test Chamber

Stratus: <Oh! Thanks a lot, Igneous! Carrying Lake around like this hasn't been fun. He'll be happy to have his stuff back, too!>

The Dragonite sets the Feraligatr down gently, takes the revive from Igneous, crushes it in his paws, then sprinkles the dust on Lake.

Lake regained health!

For a few seconds, nothing happens, before the Feraligatr begins to stir.

Lake: <...Urgh...what happened?>

PEFeDOS: Kinda dull. What interesting stuff was ever seen in the sky?

Console

Tangent: ...bad news? ._.

Rufus: Hey, maybe that was Ichtacya!

Rosary: ...doubtful...

-Sighs-

When we decided to bail, those three decided to stay back and cover our escape. (I swear, something was familiar about the Leafeon, but I just couldn't put my toe to it.) If it weren't for them we would've likely been screwed when the reinforcements showed up.

It most likely was her...

-With a bittersweet tone-

Well, we only learnt about what happened next upon capturing one of the enemy dragons a few days later. Turns out that those three were indeed able to fight their way through the reinforcements and attempted to make their way south to their homeland.

-With a sad tone-

Unfortunately, this time their luck ran out. The dragons captured all of them, and as a form of reprisal for the raid they were... summarily executed.

Muddy: By Groudon and Kyogre...

According to what the dragon said, they were led out one at a time and killed. Quick, cold, and alone. I can only hope they managed to face their deaths with dignity. Our guest was unable to tell us whether or not the dragons made them dig their own graves before killing them, but I suppose it ultimately doesn't matter. Poor Chilliwack was heartbroken when I told him what happened. I'd attempt to recover their bodies, but the place where they met their fates is simply too well guarded at the moment.

I know this is war and we'll invariably take casualties, but that doesn't make it any better. I didn't know them well, but they did leave an impression on me. Guess all we can do is make sure they didn't die in vain and liberate this region.

A Few Moments Later - Bladeshore

-The group walks into the outskirts of the settlement... And one of the most immediate differences that strikes their eye is that the local population of mustelids and pinniped Pokemon are now greatly outnumbered by mons that are not like themselves-

<Cecil: "... Huh?">

<Reynard: "Wait, I thought that there were more otters and seals than this.">

<Zexion: "You have it the other way around, Reynard. There's the same number of otters and seals. There's just more of everyone else. Or did you never grasp basic arithmetic all that well?">

<Bottles: "Maybe they figured out that the locals were a little lacking in common sense and needed some help in that department!">

-My team looks down as well-

Draca: I hope there's something resembling happiness by the end of these recordings, because this stuff is just depressing.

Muddy: Well, judging by the fact that the world isn't run by dragons, something happy must've happened.

<Rookery!Dewott: "What better setting to prove one's valor, fair Nido?">

<Moogle: "Huh? What do you mean by that?">

-A certain duo that RP!Tracer would find familiar happen to be close by-

<Dock!Archeops: "Caw haw! And just how well have those attempts to boss around those Iron Town mons been going?">

<Rookery!Dewott: "... They're organized their own way... We can respect that... (Even if it's a little inefficient...)">

<Dock!Archeops: "(That's not what your superior was saying when their elders were beating the tar out of hi-!)">

<Rookery!Dewott: "So... I take it that you're here to join the island militia too?">

-Lowering her head down to the Dewott's-

<Nadia: "Less talk and more gear, weasel. I've got a mate in there!">

Much like before, Toothy materialism somewhere completely different...twenty feet in the air.

The Feraligatr plummeted towards the ground, only to be surprised to land with a splash in...Water! Cool, live-giving water! Having spent the past few days in the chilly, bone-dry White Wafers, a splash of water was just what he needed.

Surfacing with a huge grin on his face, the Feraligatr took a second to observe his surroundings, finding that he was in the ocean adjacent to a seaside town, built underneath what looked like a HUGE dome off in the distance.
