-Mew has set up a large table for her guests, piled high with rule books for all sorts of game systems and supplements-
-Blitz is hanging around here, waiting for his fellow weremon to show up and wondering if a room at the pokemon center is really private enough to have a Mew hosted game night-
Jason:So...we doin' this?
-Suddenly Jason right behind a ninja.-
Got yer message.
-A certain pink-haired, curl-bouncing young woman walks in, with a sparkly little Ralts beside her.-
Selene: Hmhmhmhm...
Satele: <You seem pretty confident.>
Selene: I have experience with this sorta thing.
Satele: <... Really?>
Selene: Ajax found some old tabletop books a few years back.
-Crow flies in through the automatic door, due to having more luck with that sort of thing than Baluarkos-
Honchcrow: <Hey, guys.>
<So... how are we doing this thing, exactly?>
-The brown haired young man turn to Jason momentarily-
Blitz: "That's the idea, you planning to play a Rogue tonight or something?"
-He waves to Selene, Satele and Crow as they enter-
"I haven't played any table top games since I was 9... So, I'm not sure exactly how this is going to go. Still need Duke, Diane and our GM to show up before we get started though"
-Diane steps in-
Diane: I'm not late for the party, am I?
Jason:Nah, Mage...who acts like a Rogue. :P
-He waves to the Diane.-
Yo! Early, I'd say.
Satele: <That's quite a bit of competition...>
Selene: Bah, it'll be fine~
Satele: <Uh huh, suuuuure...>
Honchcrow: <Ah.>
<Though what's a GM?>
Duke hesitantly shows up and looks at everyone present "... There's more people here than I thought."
Blitz: "Nah, just in time"
-He waves again-
"Yeah, I thought I'd have trouble finding 3 other people I could talk into showing up to be honest"
-To Crow-
"That's the person running the game, not much we can do without her... Especially since I still don't know what we're playing"
Honchcrow: <Ah.>
-He looks at Duke coming in-
<Though with him here, that's everyone besides her, right?>
Jason:Looks like it.
-Blitz gets a text-
If everyone's ready, head to the "Up" staircase, but go down instead of up.▾
-Ammy and a pink-haired man with glasses arrive-
-Crow notices Ammy-
Honchcrow: <Oh, hey, Ammy.>
-He notices the one with her-
<Oh, who's that with you?>
-Blitz pulls his buzzing phone out of a pocket for a moment-
"Alright, guess it's time go"
-He gets up just as Ammy and the pink-haired man arrive-
"Oh, hey. I didn't realize you were joining us tonight. We were just about to find a spot to get started"
-With that, he starts to head for the "up" staircase, that now has a set of stairs heading down that definitely weren't there before-
-Jason blinks-
Jason:Uhm...going down...?
Selene: I'm... slightly confused. Though only slightly.
Satele: <Oh Cresselia, I did not get enough coffee this morning to deal with all of this.>
-Selene waves to Ammy. Satele raises and eyebrow at the pink-haired man.-
Satele: <Is pink hair a fad now?>
-Diane blinks at the unusual new staircase, but heads down it nonetheless.-
Human!Ammy: Hey guys!
Human!Bartelby: I'm Bartelby, and it's not a fad.
-They head down-
-For the last four years, probably (surely) more, a Legendary creature of venomus oblivion has been fighting to try make its way back into canon; its progress impeded by a sole warrior in a duel confined for hopefully up to Generation IX or something-
-They have tried everything to best each other. Direct confrontation, sudoku, highest score on Wolfenstein 1-D, psychological warfare, 4-D chess, quickest anagram, best antivirus on Windows XP...-
-Today, and while his opponent is busy stargazing -or so the Poison Legendary thinks- this Legendary is looking for asisstance from people with more expertise on world domination and that kind of stuff... Namely... a certain online support desk that also gives operational support to our very own favourite feline villainesses-
Miscast Monster: "...and this is why I would like to look for some other options."Feline Agent #47: "Right now we don't have agents available in alternate universes, but we could provide you with temporary access to a session with an available [Feline Power Broker], if you want."
Miscast Monster: "Oh? So I can be [free]?"
Feline Agent #47: "For one night. Anything past that depends on what do you get from the power broker."
Miscast Monster: "Hmmmm... sounds interesting, but will it cost me any?"
Feline Agent #47: "In theory it should, but since we don't have alternate universe agents, we can provide a service for collection of payments either."
Miscast Monster: "Oh. So, basically...?"
Feline Agent #47: "...We're providing this one-time service for free."
Miscast Monster: "Oh. And that's because...?"
Feline Agent #47: "We're doing this for the love of the art..."
Miscast Monster: "And where's the bus-"
Feline Agent #47: "...of world domination~ :3"
Miscast Monster: "...Was the smiley necessary?"
Feline Agent #47: "Just enjoy it. Your link is on the way."
-And in effect, ten minutes later the Poison Legendary receives a package with a single label: "Open and stand back for wormhole".-
Not-yet-canon Poison Legendary: <Okay, I guess I'll have to try it.>
-he does take a moment to look left and right and all around to confirm that his opponent Nidoran is still busy at the other side of the remnants of the Moon, occupied with assembling what appears to be compressed [Moondust]-
<Hmmm, here goes nothing...>
-And opens the box, which triggers a wormhole-
-The Legendary crosses through the vortex, hoping to get at least a chance to deal a definitive strike in this confrontation that has lasted for a couple of eras. He doesn't know what lies in his way, except something looking like a staircase in the infinite distance-
-Right before the staircase up going down, a wormhole appears-
-The Poison Legendary emerges from the wormhole, acquiring a for the moment non-descript and relatively ignorable form-
Not-yet-canon Poison Legendary -trashes about: <AAAAAAHHHH! At last! After ten thousand years I'M FREEEEE!!! It's time to con->
-gulps as he remembers the time limit-
<Oh right... one night... one night...>
-and looks noticing the staircase-
<H-hello? Is there a feline mon around here?>
-the trip downstairs looks to be about ten feet down, feels like it traverses several light-years, and only actually travels a few millimeters in a non-Euclidean direction. It doesn't take long, though, I mean, it's just a flight of stairs. Some peoplemon probably just jump down.-
Mew: Hello! Please, make yourselves at home, get some chips and dip, and draw up your character sheets~
-some other players are already here. Their identities are not cloaked or anything, but it is up to their narrators to introduce them. Union rules, you see. While we wait for them, why not say hi to the nice Moon Demon following you sidestairs?-
Jason:U...Uhm...
-Blinks slowly.-
Al...righty then....
Weird already! Yay!
-He takes a seat and begins to look through books on how to make a Rogue-like Mage.-
