Sprite: <But, we were just-!>
- Sprite suddenly stops for a moment, blinking in confusion -
Sprite: (seeming a bit dazed) <Um... What were we just talking about...?> (shakes head) <Hey... Have you seen any other Pokémon around? I need to find my friends.>
HotStuff: <Hmm... Wizards? Can't say I know a lot of wizards, although I suppose some people I know are kind of wizard-like in some ways... It's difficult to explain.>
-She blushes and covers it up.-
Savannah: It's n-nothing of i-importance!
-Joseph springs up in excitement-
Joseph: Sure! What are your-
Munn: Weird fairy boy please don't jump up like that.
Joseph: Oh.
-uses long grasses to form a sort of blanket to wrap around himself-
Deziree: Savannaaaaaaaaah, c'moooooooooon~
-Deziree teasingly pokes Savannah's shoulder.-
Deziree: You can tell Crazy Master Deziree anything!
Sprite: <I need to find an Infernape, a Crobat, an Espeon, a Krookodile and a Furfrou. They all went off to look for another friend of ours, and I need to catch up to them. However, I don't know where any of them are...>
-She shakes her head, her face redder than before.-
Savannah: N-no... it d-doesn't really matter... I th-think...
-Lina heads over to Chrome-
Lina: OK, Chrome, I need to, er, survey the kingdom. How do I get out of this castle?
Chrome: <Don't you usually use Stellaluna?>
Lina: ...Where is she?
Chrome: <East tower.>
-Lina heads there and finds Stellaluna nomming a bowl of food-
Lina: Stellaluna, we need to survey the kingdom. Now.
Stellaluna: <Eh? During lunch? Fine...>
-Lina hops on Stellaluna's back and the two soar off-
Joseph: Umm...I don't know where they are, either, but we'lll go with you to find them!
Munn: We? I have to find this red-
-the mercenary is momentarily swallowed by a mass of flowers before they recede, leaving behind a red rose tucked in Munn's ear-
Joseph: Aww, of course we'll go with you!
Sprite: <Ah, so you'll help me?> (smiles) <Thanks!> (thinking) "Something strange is going on, but I don't know what it is... Maybe I should just play along and act like nothing is wrong until I learn more about our current situation...
-Pianis exits the castle's front gate to an expanse of snow; Giri leaps out and starts rolling around in it-
Crystallux: <Our current location is still unconfirmed. No recognizable landmarks in sight.>
Pianis: I'm not sure what's happened to your memory, but okay, apparently you somehow forgot where we are. This is Castle Wolf, home of the royal Wolf family, rulers of the Frostblade Mountains.
Yukikaze: <They're called the Frostblades because the icy wind cuts you like a knife. Or, well, they say it does that to humans. I personally feel totally fine.>
Pianis: I cast Protection from Cold before coming out here, so I'm okay. Anyway, Prince Thomas and Princess Katie are currently absent, so it's up to us to keep the castle safe in the meantime.
Crystallux: <This data does not match any information recorded in my memory banks. There is a 99% chance of mental interference. The cause is still unknown.>
Yukikaze: <Mental interference sounds right. We need to figure out what sort of spell's been cast on you.>
Crystallux: <You appear to misunderstand my intentions.>
Pianis: Relax. We'll find a way to get you back to your normal self.
-Giri continues rolling in the snow, oblivious to all else-
Giri: <Eeee~>
-Is a little busy checking out my assorted scrolls-
...Something feels missing, but I'm not sure what...
-And then starts heading towards the nearest town-
Queen Diane: She just never gives up, does she?
-She sighs as a slightly embarrassed Talonflame-y guard looks down-
Talonflame-y!Guard: She's awfully crafty. We only noticed her when she was well on her way to escaping.
Queen Diane: It's a shame Eskay's disappeared. He's been awfully unfocused and absent particularly often, now that he's met that witch... I mean, sure, I don't mind whoever he has the hots for, but it would do all of us good to not suddenly elope or whatever's going on.
Talonflame-y!Guard: I... uh, I do not believe I am at liberty to comment on this topic.
-Queen Diane rolls her eyes-
Queen Diane: You worry too much, Fawkes. You're not gonna offend me by saying anything.
-She sighs-
Queen Diane: But that's aside the point. What matters now is retrieving the stolen amulets. Fawkes, alert the rest of the Royal Guard. Find Paula and take them back. And imprison her, if you can.
-Fawkes nods-
Fawkes: Er, yes, Your Highness.
-He bows, then leaves.-
Queen Diane: I may not be able to handle this indirectly, unfortunately... I may need to take my own personal action.
-Lina and Stellaluna are soaring and may spot or be spotted by someone-
-Lina may see the words HI THERE! written in rainbow flowers in the middle of a field-
Emboar: <Oh, well, wizard-like's good too.>
<See, I'm trying to learn wizardry, so that's why I think was up here. I was hoping to find someone who'd be willing to help me learn.>
-Crow is still going through standard guard duty stuff-
-Scouter happens to notice the scarred green boy playing his flute-
Scouter: <Musician detected!>
Maggie: "Hm?..."
-She looks and notices the boy and his Gengar-
"Oh, that sounds kind of nice... Wonder if he knows any happier songs, though."
Zeppelin: <I can't allow that. He has a scar on his eye. Therefore, he must be dangerous.>
Maggie: "Well, not necessarily. And if he is, I think we can handle our own."
-Maggie tries to move in the direction of the musician, but is restrained by Zeppelin-
-Maggie sighs as she shrinks in size and grows metallic wings-
Maggie: "I'm not sure why you're still trying that."
-Zeppelin sighs as Maggie heads toward the musician, returning to human size before she reaches the musician-
Maggie: "Uh... hey."
-Lina and Stellaluna see the flowers.-
Stellaluna: <Talk about garish.>
Lina: ...We should check that out.
-They fly down-
-as they get closer, they may see a mercenary and a grass fairy, each covered by their own blanket of grass and leaves-
Joseph: Hello!
Lina: Joseph? Munn? What are you doing here?
Munn: How do you know our names?
Joseph Right! Have you been following me, strange dragon lady?
-he digs his fingers into the ground, the grass around him growing slightly-
-The boy turns and notices Maggie. He sets his flute on his lap and quickly puts a mask over the top half of his face.-
Zeal: I wasn't expecting anyone else to be here...
-He attaches the two swords to his belt, pushes himself to his feet, and grins.-
Zeal: Hellooo!
-The grin half fades.-
Zeal: ...Who might you be?
-Noel has now woken up, though he's still tired and not in any hurry to do anything.-
Lina: They don't know who I am... Something weird is going on.
Er... Because I'm the Grand Sorceress of [REDACTED] of course! But I was surveying these lands... Can you tell me of any recent happenings?
Zeppelin: <A mask? It's even worse than I->
Maggie: -to Zeppelin- "Don't start."
"Uh, you can call me Maggie."
"What about you?"
Zeal: Let's see... how about "Zeal"?
-His green eye glows through the mask for a split second.-
Zeal: Yes! I like the sound of that!
Zeppelin: <That flash! Did you notice that flash?>
Scouter: <Similarly noticed!>
Maggie: "...okay, maybe you had a point this time. I'll be on guard."
"Uh, nice to meet you then, Zeal."
"What were you playing?"
