Do I hold her hand, or kiss her or what?
Lina: -glances at Tagg nervously before looking out to sea again-
Eskay: Sure, you're feral. That means nothing when it comes to whether you're adorable or not.
-He watches Crewe's failed attempt-
Eskay: Hmm... Try a flatter rock? Those are usually the best for this.
-He picks up a reasonably round, flat rock and hands it to her-
Eskay: Like this one.
If I'm getting that feeling of nervousness right... Hopefully this doesn't make me look like a creeper...
-And takes Lina's hand into my own-
-Lina takes Tagg's hand and squeezes it lightly-
Bah. I am ferocious, not adorable.
-she takes the rock from him and looks it over, then tosses it at the water again. It lands flat and sinks-
Shucks.
-Turns to look Lina intensely in the eye-
L-Lina?
Sparkers' ears flatten against his head in an almost dissapointed manner.
<O-ok. If you don't like me back that's...ok I guess. I just want you to be happy is all...>
Lina: Y-Yes?
-Eskay grins-
Eskay: You're just in denial.
-His grin fades at Crewe's failed throw-
Eskay: ...Well, darn.
-Straw is riding on a rental Lapras with Taylor, looking around the bay in the evening-
Taylor: It's beautiful, isn't it?
Indeed. Kinda blinding though.
Taylor:Hey, if you fall off because you stared too closely at the reflection, that's your problem. -smirks-
It will be when you get dragged into the water too.
Taylor: Ah, but you would have to fall in first. And since we're both still on this Lapras, I think we should just enjoy the moment.
Good point.
[spoiler] STRAYLOOOOOOR
Y-You're sure about this? I-I mean, I'm sure there's better guys than me.
Or maybe you're in… the opposite of denial.
-she shrugs-
Oh well.
Lina: Yeah. But you're a lot more interesting.
I suppose this is what I should do now...
-And starts leaning down-
Eskay: -shrug- Maybe I am. You're still adorable, though.
-He smiles-
Hmph.
-Crewe shoulders him, glancing away to hide her blush-
-Eskay's smile widens even as a faint redness seeps into his own . He takes Crewe's hand-
Eskay: So, um... want to go somewhere a bit less lame?
Lina: ...?
-Crewe squeezes his hand-
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
Eskay: All right then.
-He heads toward the city with Crewe-
-Crewe walks along beside Eskay, looking around-
This city is kinda boring.
Valorie bit her lower lip rather hard as she was put on the spot. "...It's not that! I just--I don't know how to feel, is all..." she replied rather meekly, moving forward and placing a hand on Sparkers. "I just... need time to figure this out." she added.
