Well, spaghetti sounds pretty good, actually. Meatballs, too, but you don't have that, so I guess I will.
Carol: Oh, really! Congratulations! How cute!! -she grins and claps- Well, I won't intrude on your privacy. You have my blessing for a long and happy relationship! Have fun!
-Eskay smiles somewhat bashfully-
Eskay: Thanks, Carol. See you around.
Herbert: Okay, sounds good. One spaghetti and one spaghetti with meatballs. Now we just need to wait for the waiter to arrive.
-He leans back in his chair.-
Herbert: ...I guess this is the point where we're supposed to ask "tell me about yourself", but that seems kind of redundant considering how long we've known each other for.
Yep! Well...how about you tell me something I don't know about you?
-Herbert scratches his chin.-
Herbert: Erm... well, what don't you know about me? Actually, that was a stupid question. Don't answer that.
Well, I don't know what I don't know! ^_^
-Herbert looks rather thoughtful.-
Herbert: Uh... yeah, I'm just trying to think of something you don't know about me. Well, my middle names are Octavius and Augustus, my favourite colour is purple, I might be further to the right of the Kinsey scale than I thought I was... any questions you want to ask?
-Joseph grins-

So...when did you decide you wanted to date me?
Herbert: Well, you're the one that suggested the idea. I just decided to go along with it because... well, let's face it, you're probably pretty good at this whole "boyfriend" business.
-He gives a small smile.-
I guess I am!
So...oh! Here's something you might not know: know why my hair's white? I wasn't born like that.
-Herbert shrugs.-
Herbert: I dunno. Did you make a deal with a fairy or something?
-Joseph gasped-
YOU GUESSED.
Psyche huggles Crewe. ~Hai, Crewe~ How've things been, darling~?~
-Crewe hugs Psyche back, kissing her cheek-
Oh, same as always. Pretty boring. How has your day been?
Sakura then comes with a big plate of lasagna.
"Here it is!" she said, smiling
As if almost on cue she trips and falls down, faceplanting into the lasagna she had just made, fortunately it wasn't -too- hot. She still quickly raises her head from it though
"... Here it was."
-Herbert blinks at Joseph.-
Herbert: ...Wait, really? I just made that crap up on the spot.
Psyche shrugs. ~It was a decent day, I nabbed a business exec's wallet.~
It's a long story! But the gist of it is that I was about seven, and I used to be blond. There was a Clefairy that could speak to me with Psychic, and he said he could sell me anything for a price! Now, even when I was seven I knew that the price could very easily get too high, so I decided to keep it low. I offered to sell my hair color for the ability to understand monese! And so...I could when you first met me!
-Crewe raises an eyebrow-
Oh, did you? Was he a jerk?
Psyche kisses her forehead. ~Let's go with yes. You know, you're the first person I've kissed outside of a con? And definitely the cutest girl I've ever kissed. :3~
-Herbert tilts his head at Joseph.-
Herbert: ...That sounds utterly ridiculous and completely implausible. Knowing us, it's almost certainly true.
-He looks back down at his menu.-
Herbert: I don't really have a lot of childhood stories. Not a lot of happy ones, anyway.
-Joseph head tilts-
I think I heard a lot of them. It...didn't sound good, yeah.
That's OK, though. There's still time for the teenage years to turn out OK.
-Eskay chuckles and uses a nearby towel to help get the lasagna off of Sakura's face-
Eskay: Be careful.
-Herbert chuckles slightly.-
Herbert: Well, I'll be eighteen in sixteen months. You've got until then to provide enough good memories to compensate for my crappy childhood.
