Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Mon of all types and levels! The Goldenrod Contest Hall is proud to present to you, the opening act of the season!

-Beat-

An exhibition of some of the most talented Coordinators in the world! With coordination teams such as  Helen Gourdan, the Psychic mono-typed coordinator and her team of enchanting and mystifying Psychics! Madame Hayor and her bedazzling team of normal, fire, and ghost types! And last year's winner of The Johto Grand Festival, Renard Clavis and his masterfully coordinated  team of mon that defy limits of type and species!

-Beat-

Now, please welcome Helen Gourdan and her partners as they perform appeals to The Beauty Underneath

-As the guitar riff sounds, psychic types port, walk, run, dance, and float onto the stage using moves to create imagery and sounds that are utterly alien, yet exquisite in their beauty-

Ren: Cute, Tough, Smart, Cool, and Beauty. You use up to four moves to show how One of your mon fit that category best. A second sub category can be chosen for more elaborate -and in some cases, easier to pull off - appeals, but it's harder to score full points when trying to do two categories at the same time.

-A lady with dark hair and eyes, wearing a lavender dress and accompanied by a shiny Gardevoir in a black lace shawl heads on to the stage. Helen and her mon curtsey or bow as the Announcer's voice booms out through the speakers.

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, Helen Gourdan!

-More applause as Helen and her mon mon exit the stage.-

Announcer: Now, ladies and gentlemen, the Goldenrod Contest Hall is proud to present a coordinator all the way from from Sinnoh! Showcasing a former segment of Super Contents which started the popular Pokemon Musicals; please welcome Madame Hayor and her partners as they perform [Disney Analogue]'s Hellfire!

-The house lights fade as a procession of bipedal Normal types such as Ursaring, Ambipom, and Watchog. The procession is lead by a Lickilicky in white robes, each normal type in the procession is accompanied by a Lampent. An older looking Blaziken in black robes portrays Frollo. Those who understand monese will find that not only are the mon on stage "singing voices" incredibly in tune, they are actually singing the proper lyrics - everyone who can't can only hear a song amazingly rendered in mon speak.-

-as the song continues, Ghost types of a variety of species and evolutionary lines join in.-

The VIP Boxes

-An Upper-middle aged couple enters. The man accompanied by a Houndoom and a Flareon. The lady is accompanied by an Archen riding on a Solrock. The lady is holding a very young Anorith.-

Lady: Oh good, we haven't missed him.

Man: -sitting in a seat with a glass of mixed juice- Yes. We're lucky he's the final exhibitionist.

Lady: -sitting down next to the man- Who do you think Ren will use for this exhibition?

Man: Knowing our son and his taste in theatrics? Every single one of his partners.

-The last two sentences might attract the attention of J-team members in the box.-

Backstage

-Ren nods at Martin and Espeon-

Ren: Well, it's good that you're prepared. Well if you'll excuse me, My mon an I have to be on stage in a few minutes.

-Ren fixes his hair and dons the coat, top hat, and gloves he and Seamstress prepared for the occasion. Ren then stows the cane he's been using and replaces it with a black and silver cane. The new cane and clothes give Ren the distinct appearance of a dark haired Xerxes Break.-

-Ren turns to Martin and Espeon.-

Ren: Well then, as they say in show business, "Break a leg".

-Ren bows then he and his mon leave to head to their designated places. Ren's coat flares and his hat's train flutters behind him as he walks down the hall.-

Martin smiled. "Same to you. Knock 'em dead." He gave Ren a thumbs-up.

Espeon nodded.

Espeon: <I also wish you the best of luck.>

Meanwhile, in Olivine, Martin's parents had taken the day off from their respective workplaces to watch Martin's first televised contest.

Greg had his headphones in as he worked, listening to the contest through a handheld radio, supporting his younger brother all the way.

Contest Hall Stands

Silent is sat at the stands with Python watching the performances from the top of his head. He has totally, absolutely, positively been there all along, though perhaps not in much of a good mood to enjoy the performances too much. Python has no such issue - he just rattles and hisses in enjoyment of the lights and the [cameras].

-to Lina-

"Hope you are enjoying the performances? Much better than wandering in some centurion-inhabited ruins, eh?"

-They enjoy the rest of Helen's performance, Silent making a note to talk to Renard later about J-Team [weirdness] issues as he hears a couple talking about Ren's performance beforehand-

-Meanwhile, Copahue, Harriet and Shahinne are perched on a good position above the scenario, near the fly systems and one of the atrezzo deposits. Copahue tilts his head at the performances, not understanding much of what is going on, while Shahinne enjoys immensely and looks down every once in a while recognizing a personmon or two-

Main Auditorium

-When the song ends withe blaziken "collapsing" on the stage, the audience cheers as house light raise and the mon an stage stand as a rather portly lady in a flattering dark blue pants suit walks onstage accompanied by a Bannette and Ursaring. Madame Hayor and her mon Curtey and bow as the announcer voice come through the speakers again.-

Announcer: A big hand for Madame Hayor and her partners!

-More applause.-

Announcer: Now for the final exhibitionist, the winner of the Last Johto Grand festival and who is also participating in today’s contest, Mr. Renard Clavis!

-Suddenly, the house lights shut off and eerie music starts to play. A single spot light illuminates Ren who is dressed as a Thamaturge from LL XIV ARR. –

Ren: – in a faux affable tone – Well now, look at all the content contest goers – and in such festive attire!

-Ren chuckles darkly as a Thunderbolt strikes the stage in front of him as he continues in a more sinister tone-

Now listen well!

Music, lights, a bit of fire

A Zorark's howl on a moonlit night
Calls to us with eerie delight

For the final moments

-With bolt of Thunder and burst of Obscura, Ren is revealed to be Zorro and with a Flash, Zorro vanishes and is replaced by what appears to be a cone shaped mass of black and dark purple.-

-As familiar music starts to play, the cone shape is revealed to be rather large demonic looking wings mounted on Rey’s shoulders. Rey has had armor polished with black toner which reflects the red, purple, orange, and green spotlights on him in rather eerie way as he starts to use Earth Power and Fire Blast in tandem with Shadow Claw to recreate visuals from Night on Bald Mountain finishing with a roar-

The Stands

Lady: -applauding- Erik, since when did Ren have a Nidoking?

Man Eric: -applauding- Since before he left for Holon, Clara. Remember the tournament?

Lady Clara: Oh that's right. Our son has really changed in the last few months

Eric: -unlike his wife, Eric knows exactly what Ren is getting up to; says- Indeed he has, Clara. Indeed he has.
