Finn: <...A sandwich? You're accusing me of something I don't know about and you're trying to get me to turn myself in for a sandwich?>
Zeal: (Essentially.)
How about two sandwiches?
Finn: <...I've never even had a sandwich before? Why would I do that?>
Zeal: WHAT?! You are not aware of what you are missing out on, in that case! You must try a sandwich, and you will be given the power to do ANYTHING! So... YOU CANNOT DENY MY REQUEST NOW! Ahahahahaha!
(Am I overdoing it a bit...?)
Finn: <...Fine.>
-He gets out of the hole-
<Now give me those sandwiches.>
Zeal: Ri—
(Wait a minute... There isn't a single sandwich in the Court Record, let alone two! Gah... I've got to think quickly...)
Er... Not yet! First, I must give you this... er...
-He stares at the ground for a moment.-
SOMBRERO!
-Zeal hands Finn a sombrero.-
You cannot have the sandwiches yet! Er... follow me! This way!
-He runs off in a random direction. Shane stares at him, bewildered.-
-A Sombrero is placed on Finn's head-
Finn: <...Alright, but can you tell me what you accused me of now?>
-He follows Zeal-
Zeal: (Is it alright to spoil this so soon...? Ah, why not? It's a ridiculous and stupid plan anyway.)
In truth, I'm not actually accusing you of anything. But I need you to confess to a certain crime in court.
-He dramatically gazes off into the distance, clutching his fist.-
I'm going to get as many witnesses to confess to this crime as possible. It might be able to create enough confusion to make Slant slip up...
(Though, given his track record, I doubt it will work...)
Finn: <Fine, I can help with that, but what crime am I supposed to be confessing anyway?>
Zeal: For violently attacking a jerk who deserved far worse than he got! See, it's not that bad a crime, anyway!
Finn: <Right, I can do that, but I'm going to need more info if you want it to be convincing.>
Zeal: Well, the jerk in question is that jerk Deimos, that one guy who's a jerk. Have you heard of that jerk?
Finn: <...I know him, yeah.>
<Wait... when did this happen?>
Zeal: I dunno. A couple months ago, maybe? One month? Less? More? I just know I was at the Pokémon League at that time. Why do you ask?
(Y'know, I should probably read those documents again... This just proves once again that I barely know the case.)
Finn: <...Was Iridis involved in this? If he was, I was there when it happened.>
Zeal: Yeah, that's right! Hmm... Maybe you'd be more useful as a real witness, then... No, that'd probably help the prosecution... but it's... gah...
Finn: <Eh, I'll just go along with whatever you want me to. Why didn't you tell me this was involving Deimos beforehand, though?>
Zeal: ...I don't know.
Finn: <Hm.>
<Well, you still owe me those two sandwiches.>
Zeal: AND YOU WILL GET THEM! ...Oh, by the way. When you do, could I have my sombrero back? You can keep it as a reminder until then.
Finn: <Yeah, sure.>
Zeal: Excellent!
-He runs off, gets Shane, and leaves the cave to buy sandwiches.-
-O'Sullivan leads Jacob into a fairly plain room with a pair of Magneton watching the doors, before leaving once again. After about an hour's wait, he returns with a familar, thuggish, blue-haired figure in tow, dressed in an unusually formal suit.-
Deimos: What've you dragged me 'ere for this time, then?
