Topic: Pent's Side-Stories: The Grey Fox Adventures [SPOILERS]

WARNING: The following contains spoilers about Pentigan.

Episode 1: Flying is Just Like Falling

Weeks ago, pretty much directly after the trial involving the break-in at the Holon Museum..

-Pentigan is pacing in a hotel room-

He can't be me... I know where I was when that occurred...

-Pacepacepace-

He's pulling something from Sherlock... Reichenbach Fall...

-Gets out his laptop-

Perhaps... Perhaps I can beat him at his own game...

-He watches the entire episode. Remember how he said he didn't watch the ending when on the rooftop? He lied-

Hm... I think I'll need some help...

Slightly later (midnight) in a park...

-Pent is sitting in front of a statue, his Skeleton Key resting in front of him-

Nocturnal, I wish to make a contract...

Today, the base of Holon Tower...

-A pedestrian is walking, walking... When suddenly a shadow falls over him-

Pedestrian: Right on cue -Transforms into a large air cushion which Pent promptly falls into-

Pent: Good catch Shift.

Shift: No problem Pent. -Waits until Pentigan gets off him, then transforms into an almost perfect replica laying on the ground- See you later.

Pent: Likewise.

The near future, the dark side of town...

-Pentigan is making sure he didn't strain anything in the fall-

Legs, still got legs...

A Murkrow: -Flies in carrying a hood- <#And there's life in this old horse yet~#>

Hello there, who might you be?

A Murkrow: <I am Karliah, mistress Nocturnal has sent me to inform you that your Nightingales are ready and awaiting orders, Gray Fox.>

Wonderful, do you mind if I fill out your ranks with another two members?

Karliah: <It is of no issue.>

Brilliant.

-Pentigan slips on the hood-

How do I look?

Karliah: <Reasonably good, would have been better had the Shadowcloak not been taken.>

Oh, now that's interesting...

Episode 2: No Suspicious Actions Allowed in Casing Mode

The [British Analogue] Museum, Archive Wing, around about 9PM

~Attention, the museum will be closing in ten minutes, please make your way to the nearest exit~

-As the remaining few scholars and tourists clear from the room, the lone janitor walks in before several doors automatically close and lock-

~Swish, swish~

-One of the doors unlocks, and a guard walks in-

Guard: Huh, didn't know it was cleaning day already...

Janitor: It is.

Guard: Well then...

Janitor: Would you kindly open up the door to the main display floor? They put it on my briefin' but m' keycard isn't working.

Guard: Oh, uh... No problem.

-The guard goes and unlocks one of the doors-

Guard: Go right ahead.

Janitor: Thank ya' kindly.

-The janitor nods at the guard as he walks in. The guard meanwhile takes a few moments to think, in which time the door has relocked again. He sighs and heads for another door, only to find something's not where it's supposed to be...-

Guard: Wait... Where's my keycard?

Archive Display Floor

-A familiar pink form slides out of the janitor's bucket-

Shift: <You know, you could of asked before swirling me around like that.>

The Grey Fox: -Slipping off the hat and slipping on the cowl- Sorry old friend, needed to keep up appearances.

-In front of the Grey Fox is a large display case, containing a scroll suspended in a block of plastic-

The Grey Fox: And here it is, the scroll...

Shift: <Looks just like...>

The Grey Fox: Technically it is, occasionally things like this slip the bounds and end up in our world...

Shift: <Huh...>

-A weavile slips out of the shadows-

The Grey Fox: Ah, hello. Another Nightingale I presume?

The Weavile: <Brynjolf, acquisitions expert at your service, lad.>

The Grey Fox: Wonderful, now then... How to go about getting that scroll...

Brynjolf: <Hm... Well if we're going to be obvious, I'd suggest a good first point would be cutting the glass.>

The Grey Fox: Except I want it to appear impossible... Shift? You have Teleport?

Shift: <Not transformed into anything... So no.>

Brynjolf: <Hm... Not sure where you're going here...>

???: <Perhaps I can be of assistance?> -A gallade steps out of the the shadows and bows- <Gallus, diplomatic expert at your service monsieur Fox. I believe I can provide the required Teleport.>

The Grey Fox: Ah, good, right then, let's get this started...

Next morning, 5AM

-The doors click open, and the first few people file in. As soon as they reach the Archive hall though...-

-The scroll is missing, just the scroll. No sign of entry into the case and most surprisingly the plastic in which it was encased is still there. Within the space the scroll would be is a small note, upon which has been written "IOU 1 Scroll - Grey Fox"...-
