...Looks like, at least for now, I only have enough money for either X or Y. So it looks like X is going to be the first game I get.

Scraggy at the start of the game? THAT is weird.
Also, I foresee many lawls when Psyche starts her journey only to find Scraggy right out the gate.
I dunno if it's at the start, given what's been shown so far, it may just be that Horde Battles have their Pokemon at a Lower Level.
Though Psyche probably won't be especially pleased of their existence regardless.
Also, Pancham get Iron Fist as at least one ability.

During todays special airing of Pokémon Origins within Japan, a new Mega Evolution was showcased. This is an alternate Mega Evolution of Charizard. This Mega Charizard is exclusive to Pokémon X and is called Mega Charizard X. We'll bring more details as and when it comes so keep checking back.
So seems like Mewtwo isn't the only one with version exclusive Mega Evolutions.
Huh, so Charizard gets two Mega-Evolutions, with the X version being part Dragon. Didn't see that one coming. Wonder if the other two Kanto starters have another Mega form too, or if it's just Charizard? Design is pretty cool, though, although it makes me wonder what shiny Charizard X would look like since it already has black scales?
I am suddenly very glad I'm getting Cuyahoga in X. :o
WMG: Blastoise X will become gunmetal grey and be part Electric type.
Spritzee and Swirlix evolutions possibly revealed
A new pamphlet has come out featuring two brand new Pokémon. These Pokémon are evolutions of Swirlix and Spritzee and are known in Japanese as Peroriimu and Furefuran respectively. Like their pre-evolutions, they are pure Fairy-type. This is not 100% confirmed at this time, but is almost certainly real. We'll bring more information as it comes
Potential Spritzee evo looks weird. Might still get it, though.
And based on the leaks and some checking of Pokedex entires, Maggie will most likely be catching a male Burmy in Kalos.
Charizardnite X I presume.
Also, Nina kicked Charizard's ass in the Silph Co fight against Giovanni.
