According to Thuum.org, Unaz means "Happy" in draconic. Maybe Alduin recommends the name?
I'd do that, but I'm not sure why Lina would ask Alduin for naming advice. Plus, I like the reference with Sharptooth. :P
You know what? I might also pick up an Amaura, simply because against all odds Dune has never picked up a fossil Pokemon before now, and considering his theme he has ground to make up.
Huh. So Doublade is a thing. Honedge didn't really seem like the type to evolve again to me, but apparently I was wrong.
Same.
So, that's Honedge's evolution? Heh, it actually looks kind of cute. Probably looks a bit cooler in battle than it does in the official art, I assume.
Wasn't expecting Honedge to get an evo either.
Originally, if it did get an evo and it was like, "lol two swords" I'd be turned off from using one, but Doublade actually looks pretty cool. :P So yeah.
I can't wait to see what kind of attacks it'll be getting.
Dual Chop and Cross Chop seem likely. Unless it evolves again. Though, it is confirmed to use Aerial Ace and Shadow Sneak.
Don't forget X-Scissor.
According to Serebii, Doublade can learn Sacred Sword.

... OH. THAT is surprising.
WAT WAT WAT WAAAT
well then
well then
well... then.
As an interesting note, in the anime, Ash is flying to Kalos. I believe this is a should be noted due to the fact that he had to fly to Unova as well (since that was done to illustrate how far away Unova was). I know that travel distance is a huge issue IRP, but it helps with worldbuilding, as it implies that Kalos is probably just as far away from Kanto as Unova is. It is also interesting to note since Kalos seems to have a large assortment of wild mon representing every region from the start - i.e. one wouldn't have to wait for postgame to catch a large variety of Gen I-V mon. (Though that last bit has yet to be confirmed...)
Now for some percentages. The first column is a region and the game it from. The second is "how many mon from older region in a Region's Regional Dex". The third column is "the total amount of previous gen mon available in National Dex for that Gen". The final column shows "how many previous gen mon in terms of the Gen V National Dex are in the Region".
+---------------------------------------------------+
| | Avaiable | Avaiable | Avaiable |
| Region | Prev Gen | Prev Gen | Prev Gen |
| and Game | Mon in | Mon in | Mon in Gen V |
| | Regional | National | National |
| | Dex % | Dex % | Dex % |
|---------------------------------------------------|
| Johto (HGSS) | ~39% | ~86.7% | ~30% |
|---------------------------------------------------|
| Hoenn (E) | ~17.3% | ~47.9% | ~31.1% |
|---------------------------------------------------|
| Sinnoh (PLT) | ~22.1% | ~88.6% | ~69.7% |
|---------------------------------------------------|
| Unova (BW) | 0% | ~71.9% | ~71.9% |
|---------------------------------------------------|
| Unova (B2W2) | ~21.7% | ~77.8% | ~77.8% |
+---------------------------------------------------+
(I'm not touching HGSS Kanto because it would be a nightmare to calculate... -_-;)
But I wonder what percentage of the Kalos Dex is Gen I-V mon. I'm not sure how things are IRP, but if Kalos has a high percentage of mon from all previous regions in its its Regional Dex from the get go (like ~30% or greater), it would be interesting (possibly read, "challenging") to explain IRP. Especially since the availability of more previous gen mon post game is usually explained in-game as "new mon have been discovered in the region" iirc.
Considering that it looks like Kalos is a somewhat of a cultural Mecca, it wouldn't surprise me if most of the previous gen mons are introduced species.
@Keys: They could just simply be native to the region, quite a few northern hemisphere species can be found on multiple continents (Moose and brown bears for instance.)
From Serebii:
Pokémon X & Y - O Power Event
The official site has updated and has announced that, across Japan, various O Powers are to be distributed to players at special events. These O Powers are at Level 2, making them more powerful and make them last long. First is HP Recovery Power which increases the amount you heal by 50%. Next is PP Recovery Power which increases the amount of PP recovered. Finally, there is Prize Money Power which increases the amount of money won in battles. These distributions run in Pokémon Centers across Japan from October 12th to Mid-November as well Aeon Malls across Japan from October 12th to October 14th.
The following receive it from October 12th to 14th: Aeon Mall Lake Town (Saitama), Aeon Mall Musashi Murayama (Tokyo), Aeon Mall Okazaki (Aichi), Aeon Mall Itami (Hyogo) and Aeon Mall Fukuoka while the following will only run it on October 14th: Aeon Mall Natori (Miyagi), Aeon Mall Uchihara Mito (Ibaraki), Aeon Mall Chiba New Town, Aeon Mall Hamamatsu (Shizuoka) And AeonMall HiroshimaFuchu (Hiroshima).
...I just realized from Tagg's post all Pokemon games are based off places in the northern hemisphere.
WE NEED A POKE-NEW ZELAND, PEOPLE
I like how it appears that colors aren't locked by gender.
I could do some studying and start some worldbuilding for Poke-Zealand.
Also, if we do go through with it, we must have Pokestar Studios do a certain movie series there~
Dune: ooooh... you mean The Water Horse? We do have water horses in the RP...
(*avoids bricks*)
Spain gets the games a day early due to the 12th being a national holiday. So much for going in without much knowledge.
Mega Blaziken is broken.
Dat Mold Breaker.
