Day 2: Robot Graveyard (Freedom Planet 2)

In this sequel to Freedom Planet, the frost knight Neera Li returns to the Shuigang snowfields that were the site of a great battle in the prior game. She'll find more than just junk there, however.

Another year, another set of ice levels!

Day 1: Chill Penguin (Mega Man X)

Maverick Hunter X has a long list of ice-based foes to take down this month. We'll start off with Chill Penguin from the very first game.

Day 31: Mr. Freeze (Batman: Arkham City)

In the desolation of Arkham City, a clash of well known heroes and villains takes place. Today Batman faces down his old foe Mr. Freeze in an abandoned police station.

Day 30: Snowfall Lake (Tadpole Treble)

A newborn tadpole finds herself separated from her family, and goes on a musical adventure to return home. Today we follow her as she swims through the waters of an icy lake.

Day 29: Icey Dungeons (Dicey Dungeons)

Today we entrust our life to a dice roll as we venture through the cold dungeons of this game show/dice game. Keeping some ice magic at our side will ensure the odds remain in our favor.

Day 28: Frozen Grotto (Cadence of Hyrule)

We get to have another musical adventure, now with Zelda. Let's move to the beat and venture through the icy caverns to save Hyrule from an evil musician.

Day 27: Alpine Trust (Fast RMX)

Today we head out to a futuristic racetrack. We aren't gonna let a little ice get in the way of going fast.

Day 26: Snowy Depths (Noita)

Today we explore the snowy caverns of Noita, the falling sand roguelike. We'll find lots of interesting sights, and probably die a lot too.

Day 25: Christmas Dreams (NiGHTS Into Dreams)

Merry Christmas! Today we're looking at a game about getting lost in dreams, with the help of a dream jester spirit. NiGHTS starts off by celebrating the occasion along with Claris, then we visit a more standard ice world with Elliot.

Day 24: Aurora's North (NightSky)

A lone sphere rolls along the ground, against a backdrop of the night sky. Why is it there? Because it can be. Let's follow its journey across the ice lands.

Day 23: Icicle Mountain (Super Smash Bros. Melee)

Today we're checking out a stage from an older Super Smash Bros. game. It's another case where the stage represents the NES game Ice Climber, and the Ice Climbers who hail from it.

Day 22: Kamihr Drifts (Final Fantasy XI)

Today I'm teaming up with a dear friend to showcase a game very near and dear to our hearts. Join me and Itchiro as together we explore the deep recesses of the Ubluka continent.

Day 21: Hoth (Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy)

It's time to visit the famous ice planet Hoth once again. Jedi student Jaden Korr is here to investigate the remnants of Echo Base, and find out what a mysterious Sith cult is doing with the legacy of Luke Skywalker.

Day 20: The Arctic Cruise (A Hat in Time)

Hat Kid decides to relax and vacation on a titanic cruise liner heading through the arctic. Surely nothing could go wrong, right?

Day 19: Eternal Woods (Diablo III)

Yes, I'm still finding ways to squeeze more ice levels out of this game. Today we run though the snowy woods and blast undead fiends with giant arcane lasers.

Day 18: That Cold Place (Ittle Dew)

An adventurer crashes upon an island, and has to solve puzzles and destroy enemies in order to return home. Sound familiar? Well, it's not Zelda, but it'll do. Today we join Ittle in a cold place.

Day 17: Zone 3 (Crypt of the Necrodancer)

Today we perform a dance of fire and ice as we delve into a particularly chilly (and hot) section of the Necrodancer's crypt.

Day 16: Snowball Park (Super Mario 3D World)

It's time to show off another Mario ice level as I take Rosalina skating through the snowy park, and a few other places.

Day 15: Rime Age (realMyst: Masterpiece Edition)

Today's ice level is from a timeless classic, the surreal adventure that will become your world. Let's visit the age of Rime and uncover its hidden secrets.

Day 14: Freudia's Stage (Rosenkreuzstilette)

In this Mega Man inspired game, our hero Spiritia Rosenberg will have to give it her all if she wants to prevail against the ice mage Freudia Neuwahl, and halt the Rosenkreuzstilette organization's nefarious plans.
