Apparently, my friend Tagg the Swampert found the holotape in his ancestor's old dwelling, nyan. He then first attempted to play it in a player sold to him by the Areodactyl over there, nyan. So, the virus that allowed the AI to take over was either his ancestor's fault or the Areodactyl's, nyan. And I'm sure you don't want to imply the latter, nyan.
Stratus: <Did any of you understand any of that? Or...>
Luke: <I didn't get a word of it either.>
Stratus: <Oh, so it wasn't just me, then...>
Lake: <Hmm...>
Lake stands up, waving his hand to get everymon's attention.
<Er...listen. I know that those two A.I caused a lot of damage and messed up all your nicely arranged towns, but we didn't mean for that to happen at all. All we were doing was trying to help.>
He gestures a hand at Gulper.
<You remember, don't you, Gulper? We came to see you to tell you that we could get the power generators back online, because you were working yourselves to death trying to keep that single generator functional so that the roof wouldn't cave in on everymon's heads.>
Luke: <...What?!>
Lake: <Admittidly, we ended up doing more harm than good at first...but look at the PEFE now! Even if those A.I were running things for a while, they manged to fix the place up almost as good as new! Now they've got all the vital systems running online so you can use this place at maximum efficacy! Surely that will help with all the important things that you do here, as well as making life more comfortable for all the Pokemon at live here.
...I guess what I'm trying to say is that we promised you that we would make things better, and we did, but we're sorry that things had to be so rough for everymon on the way. And...that's pretty much it.>
Impressed, Stratus stands and gives Lake a standing ovation.
Stratus: <Yay! Bravo!>
Luke: <...>
-Sure enough, everyone does notice Tagg and company-
<Giant Female!Samurott: "Hey, you! Get down here with the rest of your companions! You have some explaining to do!">
-In a more diplomatic tone-
<Fruit Necklace: "You're not necessarily in any trouble... We just had some questions...">
-Hearing Lake-
<Gulper: "... I suppose that's a valid point... But we would have never acquiesced to this if we had known that you were going to displace two-thirds of the towns so that way you could restore some machines that we barely knew anything about!">

Spectrum speaks up.
Spectrum: <If we had known, we wouldn't have, either. All we intended to do was watch a holotape, and help relieve some mons of some of their workload. We had no knowledge of that AI's existence, and if we did, we would have thrown the tape away. So again, we apologize for the damage, but would like to remind you that the AI virus was purely accidental on all parts except for the AI's own.
Luke: <Uh...that Flygon's voice...it's->
Stratus: <Red?>
Luke nods.
Luke: <Yeah. How...How does she do that?>
Stratus shrugs, unsure.
Stratus: <Dunno. Dragon magic, I guess.>
<Half-Blind Steelix: "Huh? Wuzzat? You saw what now?">
<Ludicolo: "... I can't believe that Flopside still keeps you around... Anyhow... Does this sound right to anyone else here who's actually run into these mons before?">
<Polaris: "... They don't appear to mean any harm... Why some of them still has one of those overseas ruffians under control! The dead appreciate your help, by the way...">
<"Er... You're welcome?">
<Aeron: "Well... The holotape part seems correct... It sounded as if it was made by an ancestor of the Swampert. The player that he used to listen to it up in Sauna Hold broke... And well... I suggested that the mainframe might be helpful...">

<Gulper: "... They were looking to help us with the generators, yes...">
