Zeal: I'll admit, I'm still a bit curious about the answer to the other interpretation of my question.

- Sprite may be exploring the area with Joseph and Munn -
HotStuff: (looks around) <Hmm... We've gotten pretty far, but where do we go from here?>
-Knock, knock.-
Lina: I woke up to find I was Grand Sorceress of [REDACTED]. Not sure if I actually have any sorceress powers... Actually...
-She focuses and conjures a large lotus flower of Obscura-
Ooh.
- She waves her hand and an Obscuric lightning bolt strikes nearby, causing Stellaluna to yelp-
I could get used to this.
-Green.-
Zeal: Darn, I was hoping for a more exciting answer...
-He glances at the Gengar, who is still sitting in one place.-
Zeal: Eh, how's this?
-He begins to play music that sounds much livelier.-
-Savannah answers the door.-
Garuda: <That is both fortuitous in that your powers are rather intuitive, but unfortunately does not give us enough raw information to draw a pattern. I appeared in an oddly linear cave - it was just a straight hole in the ground after the entrance.>
-Savannah is greeted by a girl with a bunch of amulets hanging around her neck.-
Paula: Sav! Hey, good to see you here. It's been a while, hasn't it?
-The Knight in polished armor is here, wandering about-
Argent Knight: Hmph... No luck at the tavern. I don't get it, it's always the tavern... The campaign always starts there...
-Meanwhile the squire is sitting to the side rolling dice with a buncha kids-
Kid-Friendly Squire: See how they all turned up threes? It's a wheird thing about these dice, always turnin' up threes. Here, you try.
-One of the kids rolls a dice and it turns up a 5-
Astonished Squire: Huh, well ya look at that! Nice job kiddoh!
-Both characters are out in the open and readily approached-
Lina: That doesn't help us... Again, we have to find someone.
Garuda: <Indeed. I suggest locating a populace center to begin our search.>
Lina: Good idea. Follow me.
-She and Stellaluna head for a city in the distance-
Garuda: <Falling into Wingman position.>
-Garuda come up to Stellaluna's flank with practiced precision, and follows from there.-
Savannah: Paula!
-She smiles.-
Savannah: Y-yes, it has!
-Paula grins and hugs Savannah-
Paula: I've been a liiiittle bit busy trying to find something... but I managed!
-She pulls the amulets off from around her neck, beaming-
Paula: Found a whole bunch of these things in some old catacombs just a couple days ago. They have this sort of... glowy powery thing, and I wanna figure out where whatever's giving them that power is.
-She glances around-
Paula: Is Crazy Dezi around?
-Lina and Garuda soar over the city and may be spotted-
-Joseph, now wearing clothes provided by Munn, sighs-
Joseph: I can't see why I have to do this...
-regardless, he cups a hand around his mouth-
Joseph: Yoo hoo! Friends of the flower fairy?~
Sprite: (looking around) <I still don't see any of them... I wonder where they could be...?>
Joseph: Fairy friiiiiieeeeennnnds!~
Munn: Redheaaaaaaaaad!~
Joseph: What redhead?
-The Argent Knight spots the recently-arrived Lina and smirks to himself-
Argent Knight: Aha! A grand magi and a beast, worthy companions for the campaign!
-He approaches as the squire looks on from a few steps back-
Argent Knight: Hello, what brings you to this sleepy little placeholder?
-Lina lands near the Argent Knight, dismounts Stellaluna, and replaces her hood.-
Lina: Pent... OK, here goes.
Greetings, honorable knight! I am Lina, Grand Sorceress of [REDACTED], and I require your services! (Garuda, I need you for this!)
-Garuda gently slows to a stop at Lina's side.-
Garuda: <I am at your side. Just tell me what to do.>
Sprite: <Hmm... Guess they're not here... Let's keep going, I guess?>
Argent Knight: Wonderful, now we're getting somewhere! Now all we need is a rogue or something.
-The squire glares, eyes half-hidden by his leather cap-
Argent Knight: A rogue that isn't also a mage and a warrior. Anyway, I haven't introduced myself have I?
-The Argent Knight chuckles and removes his helmet. Between the brown hair, blue eyes and burgeoning beard, this is clearly not Pentigan-
Argent Knight: Gygax the Wyrmslayer, at your service madam.
Lina: ...Ah fuck.
Er, have you seen anyone acting unusual lately?
