Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

"Well... It was something Lyuri came up with, it's more of a joke really, we dress up and play the "villains"" he air-quotes "With that I mean that we pretend to be villains while still overall just helping like any other hero while painting villany over it. I guess you'd call that a parody."

He begins chuckling, though he also seemed quite embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I know it's ridiculous and dumb, but at the time it seemed like just something silly and fun to do since there wasn't much going on around. We're just acting, really. It's kinda like those videos of people doing silly things that end up becoming very popular." he pauses "I was going to talk to you about it, just so you were aware of it and we could even work together, keeping the act going while still genuinely helping others, we just didn't get the opportunity to, and what happened in Vien Forest that day made us forget to tell you, that and you teleported away."

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

Lucius: ...So long story short, you did it to make fun of me. Or us. Whichever.

-He exhales.-

Lucius: I suppose it doesn't matter now, considering that I'm not a part of the whole superhero act any longer... if anything, I'm more of an actual villain than you two.

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

"You could say that, it pretty much does come down to that... You made it sound a bit worse than I thought it would be."

He then sighs

"Look, Lucius, I can understand that you did a lot of mistakes in your superhero career, but you're no villain."

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

Lucius: It was Lyuri's idea. What did you expect? That girl is an expert at being inadvertently offensive. That and she doesn't care about what anyone else thinks.

-He then looks down at the ground again.-

Lucius: As for me... you either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I know this is a bad time to start quoting movies, but it's all too true... I can understand why Sarah went to extremes in order to stop me. I'd become a thieving, manipulative, uncaring bastard nearly as bad as my own father... I just wish there was some other way she could've made me see that...

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

"You know what you did wrong, so now you have to make up for it. You said you treated your allies badly, so you should go and apologize to them, returning whatever you stole would also be a good thing to do. You're not a bad person, you're just... Misguided, I suppose would be the word, you need someone to keep you on track and to make sure you don't lose track of what really matters. Your father went too far and thought he was right, you know you're wrong, so you're not a lost cause."

906

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

Lucius: ...I suppose that's true... crossing the line is all too easy. It's going back that's the hard part...

-He groans and runs his hands down his face.-

Lucius: I guess I won't be able to stay here for much longer. I need to try and make amends for the way I treated the people I was supposed to lead, own up to the crimes I committed... talk to Sarah...

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

"You should relax before you go do that. I wanted to help you do so, but I guess the plan got derailed into this debate. I know you probably want to get that done as soon as possible, but being in a more relaxed state will help you to not get too nervous with doing it and not end up saying something you shouldn't. I'm here to keep you company, if you want, so if there's anything you want to do, be it doing some training or just go out to do something, I'll gladly help." he gives him a small smile then points at Recette with his head "And Recette is going to be around to help you sleep."

Recette nods "<Yep!>"

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

-Lucius manages a hint of a smile.-

Lucius: Alright... thanks again, Duke. Speaking of sleep, I probably ought to get more of that... preferably without nightmares this time around, if at all possible. Don't suppose you'd be willing to help me with that, cute squishy flouncy tentacle-squid?

909

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

Recette then hugs Lucius "<No problem!>" she said as she nuzzled him

"Tomorrow we should try doing something else other than staying in our hotel room all day, possibly." said Duke, with a chuckle.

910

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

-Lucius hugs Recette back.-

Lucius: Maybe we should... but on the other hand, being lazy is a whole lot easier. I've been giving up sleep in exchange for workouts every night for the last few months. It's about time I got a break... one that I can actually enjoy, for once...

-He clambers into bed and curls up.-

911

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 4/9/14

"Get too lazy and you'll end up out of shape. Anyway, good night."

Duke then walks out of the room, while Recette stays with Lucius.

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Vien Forest - 28/8/14

Salvador rubs the left side of his head. It appears that Lillianna has nicked him there.

Salvador: -Cleaning off the blood from his hand- Wrong about what? From the way you've been addressing me since we first came into contact with each other, I thought you had it all figured out.

"Oh Bassy, I do love red the most. Hair, clothes, lipstick, I love them to be red. The more flamboyant a woman is, the more she's as beautiful as a poisonous flower, right?"

913

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Vien Forest - 28/8/14

Lillianna: As did I... whether for better or for worse, it would appear that my assumptions were misguided. But I should not judge you based on those responsible for your upbringing, else I would be condemned myself.

-She raises an eyebrow in concern.-

Lillianna: ...Are you quite alright? I did not mean to cut so deeply...

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

-Lucius is awake and sitting up in bed, playing on one of his Poketch apps. For once, he looks reasonably well-rested, though the dark shadows under his eyes are still noticeable.-

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

Recette is currently acting as a hat on Lucius's head, still asleep. He might hear some knocking on his door.

915

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

-Lucius looks up, slightly startled by the noise.-

Lucus: I guess Duke must be back from training by now...

-Taking care not to dislodge his Inkay hat, he gets up and goes to open the door.-

916

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

Upon opening the door Lucius would see Duke handing him some chocolate ice cream, it was melting a bit though.

"Afternoon. I bought this for you on the way back, you should probably begin eating it before it melts completely."

"<But I already ate so many cookies...>" said Recette, in her sleep.

917

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

-Lucius takes the proffered ice cream, smiling slightly.-

Lucius: Weren't you the one warning me about getting fat?

-He sits back down on the bed and starts eating, occasionally giving Recette an occasional bout of petting.-

918

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

"As long as you don't stay here all day and go do something else then it's fine isn't it?" Duke then chuckles at Recette "So, I see you got a new hat."

919

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

-Lucius nods, looking up at the Inkay wrapping her tentacles around his head.-

Lucius: Indeed I did. She's very stylish, don't you think? I ought to go out like this more often. It could start a whole new trend.-

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

Lucius: Don't be silly! They're far too cute for that. Nobody would believe such slanderous lies about the most huggable Pokemon there is. Isn't that right, you adorable little squishy brain hat?

-He reaches up to pet Recette again, an absent-looking grin on his face.-

922

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

"<Yes mommy...>" said Recette, cheerfully.

Duke just begins chuckling.

923

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

Lucius: Aww, she thinks I'm her mommy~

-Far from being put off, this only seems to make him even more gooey-eyed and incoherent.-

924

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

"Or she's just dreaming. This Pokémon line certainly can melt your heart huh."

925

Re: Herbert40k's Wrap-Up Thread

Pueltown Hotel - 5/9/14

Lucius: They're squishy and cute and tentacle-y and evolve into something that's even more squishy and cute and tentacle-y! What's not to love?

-He pulls Recette off of his head with a popping noise not dissimilar to the kind made by a plunger and gives her a tight squeeze.-
