Rosa smirked, snuggling up close."I've been good, Sen. Also, good news, Axel showed up, so now we have a lead on Locke!

Locke walked behind Emily, his hands and ankles bound in chains. Locke shook his wrists a bit."Is this really necessary?I couldn't escape if I wanted to."

Emily pouted, and looked at Locke apologetically."I know, and I'm so sorry, but it's regula-"

She stops in her tracks, face pale, as a middle aged, balding man crosses their paths, scowling."Well well well, you finally found the little bugger, private."

Locke stayed silent, as Emily's face began to light up."Thank you, d-"

But the man continued."Of course, if you hadn't let him wander off last time, this wouldn't be a predicament, now would it?"

Emily blanched."Bu-but I.."

"I didn't sign you up for this so that you could prove your ineptitude, private, fail us again and there won't be anyone worse than me."

He stalks off. Emily shakes her head, tears trying to get out, and mutters"Hi to you too, Dad."

They keep walking, Locke doing his best to stay with her."You're not a failure, Em. You know that, right?"

She looked back at him, tears flowing."It doesn't matter what I think, Locke. Only what he thinks."

They keep walking, her head lowered, her frame shaking.

Rosa sighs happily.He's asleep right now. He swam all the way from Sinnoh to hear, so he was pretty exhausted. After he wakes up, I think?

-Nadia snugs a sleepy Duke.-

Morgi: Does he have a starter yet?

On the television!

-a news anchor smiles at the screen-

Anchor: And now we have an interview with an up and coming young woman who claims to be trying to change the world. We go live to Jubilife City in Sinnoh, where Roxanne Ritchi is sitting down with the head of the Rayquaza Corps, a young lady simply known as Crewe.

-cut to a plain room where a reporter in a dark suit is sitting across from a young woman with very long, dark hair, with a Noctowl feather braided into it. She wears a plain white long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans, and an emerald scarf. She's smiling, but nevertheless looks rather intimidated-

Roxanne Ritchi: So, Miss Crewe--

Crewe: Just Crewe. Please.

Roxanne Ritchi: Crewe, then. Before we get to talking about your recent efforts, would you mind if we talk about your history a little bit?

Crewe: Yeah, that's, uh... that's fine.

Roxanne Ritchi: Don't worry, I'll be brief. First off, you were a member of the J-Team?

-Crewe smiles-

Crewe: Yeah. I was traveling with the J-Team before they were called that.

Roxanne Ritchi: My sister was a huge fan. For those who don't know, the J-Team was a well-known group of Trainers that had a tendency to save the world.

Crewe: Yeah. We broke up a while ago, though. We don't travel together anymore. But I still keep in touch as much as I can.

Roxanne Ritchi: You must be very busy nowadays.

Crewe: Oh, yeah.

Roxanne Ritchi: Let's talk about what you're doing now.

-Crewe shifts in her seat and becomes much more focused-

Crewe: Okay.

Roxanne Ritchi: You are the head of the Rayquaza Corps. Would you like to explain what it is your organization does?

Crewe: Yeah. So, basically, we're this network of wild Pokemon. Everyone who joins the Corps swears to help anyone who needs help to the best of their ability--so if anyone gets in trouble, they send a message to me and Chad through a system of Psychic types, and we teleport in the Pokemon who can best help.

Roxanne Ritchi: Chad?

Crewe: Chad's my partner. He was Rayquaza's right-hand Xatu until he got assigned to look after me. Chad's the real brains of the operation. He's in charge of getting messages out to Pokemon around the world, and he organizes the teleportation. If telepathy could be broadcasted through the TV, he'd be here right now with me.

Roxanne Ritchi: I see. Could you tell me a little more about your relationship with Rayquaza?

-Crewe shifts uncomfortably-

Crewe: Rayquaza isn't all that involved. We have his blessing, and he's warmed up to the idea since he's seen all the good we've done, but Chad and I are the ones in charge.

Roxanne Ritchi: How did you get involved with Rayquaza? I know the J-Team ran into many Legendaries in their day, but--

Crewe: It's a long story. It started with a misunderstanding and kinda snowballed into something else. I'd rather not go too deeply into it.

Roxanne Ritchi: All right. So why don't we talk about what we're really here for? Tell me about your efforts here in Sinnoh.

Crewe: I've wanted to extend the Corps into the world of humans for a long time, pretty much ever since we first got it started. But now that we're much bigger, and we've got so many Pokemon that are a part of the organization, all over the world, I thought now would be a good time to really make the effort.

Roxanne Ritchi: So why Sinnoh? Why not, say, Hoenn?

Crewe: We started the Rayquaza Corps in Hoenn, because most of the Pokemon there at least pay lip service to Rayquaza even if they aren't Flying types. We probably could have tried extending it to the human cities pretty effectively, but I didn't want to start there. Sinnoh is my home region; it's where I was born, where I grew up, where I got on a plane and ended up with the J-Team. So when Chad and I decided now was the time, I wanted to start with Sinnoh.

Roxanne Ritchi: And how have things been going?

Crewe: It's hard. People aren't always open to the idea of working with Pokemon not only as equals, but without Pokeballs. They don't feel comfortable trusting these wild Pokemon with their safety, and some people don't want to pledge their support to random wild Pokemon halfway across the world. But we're making progress. We started in a few small towns, and we got the local Pokemon populations and police forces to agree to help each other--so they're not hooked up to the teleportation network, but it's something. We even got the police chief of Twinleaf Town to wear a Corps scarf. That was a great feeling.

Roxanne Ritchi: I can imagine. Are you planning to keep trying with the small towns?

Crewe: We're gonna keep trying to get everyone on board that we can... it's easier with the small towns sometimes. But we want to move up to the bigger cities, too.

Roxanne Ritchi: So what's your next move?

Crewe: We were thinking Eterna City. They're not too big, they're pretty in tune with nature, and they have that reverence for Legendaries--otherwise, maybe Celestic Town. Really, we'll go talk to anyone who's willing to talk to us.

Roxanne Ritchi: You say us--do you talk to officials yourself, or... ?

Crewe: Chad comes with me, always. Sometimes we bring the region representative for Sinnoh--he's a Staraptor named Hurricane. He's in charge of everyone in Sinnoh. All the local reps answer to him. If he can't make it, and sometimes even if he can, we'll use the local representative--the mon in charge of coordinating everything in that district. They get involved anyway if the officials decide they might want in, but sometimes we like to bring them. Show them who they'll be dealing with, right?

Roxanne Ritchi: Show the people, or the Pokemon?

-Crewe chuckles-

Crewe: Both. It's a big commitment on both sides. We want everyone to be comfortable with their reps and their community. The Rayquaza Corps is all about making a global community dedicated to helping each other.

Roxanne Ritchi: That's great. Well, Crewe, I'm afraid we're out of time. It was great to meet you.

Crewe: Thanks for letting me come talk about the Corps.

Roxanne Ritchi: It was a pleasure. I wish you luck with your efforts.

Crewe: Thanks.

-the reporter extends her hand to shake, and it cuts back to the anchor-

Anchor: And that was Roxanne Ritchi with Crewe, the leader of the Rayquaza Corps.

Miki:I remember registering...

Jason:You used Crash for a while, didn't you?

-He turns back to his cousin.-

I...think I can see why Nadia doesn't like to battle...

-As an example, sleepy Duke applies more snuggles to Nadia.-

She seems to love being human, though. She's a cutie.

Central Plaza

Jason:As hard as it was to get those...I guess that's your choose in the end.

Miki:Um...I could...

-It's pretty obvious what she wants to offer, much to Jason's chagrin.-

Jason:Miki...

-Lillith and Crash playfully spar off in the distance, but that really isn't overly important.-

Central Plaza

-Sleepy Duke's head plops into Nadia's lap. Not in the headless sense, but in the adorable sleepy sense.-

Jason:What I said...earlier?

-Miki taps her index fingers together nervously.-

Miki:I...I just wanted...

-A Pachirisu scampers out of a ball at her waist and up to her shoulder.-

Nodoka:<You just...want to help your friends, right?>

-Miki sniffles and nuzzles Nodoka.-

...yeah...

-Miki sniffles again, then hugs Morgi tightly.-

Miki:Y-You aren't wrong, hun...I was...just caught up in my own feelings...

-Jason takes a glance over to his son laying on Nadia's lap.-

Jason:I...I'll support you too, Morgan. I ment what I said then...and I wanna see everyone happy too...

-He cracks a small smile.-

I'm still an Empath...and a sensitive one at that...what kinda cousin would I be if I didn't try to make you smile?

-Both Maxwells hug back tightly while Duke nuzzles against Nadia's stomach slightly, muttering in his sleep.-

Jason:-Quietly-And I have to admit, Duke seems a lot happier...

Jason and Miki:Do tell~!
