Upon arriving and being immediately greeted by Audric, Sigurd gave a small smile, recruiting him right out of the bat would be a bad idea, so first he was just going to try interacting with him, after all he seemed to be a fairly nice guy.

"Ah, so you're Audric? I have some things that I need to discuss with you." said Sigurd.

"<So that's him? Are you sure he's not a girl?>" asked Ragnar

Being rather amused with the question, Sigurd simply gave Ragnar a few pats on the head, prefering to not comment about what he just heard.

Sigurd then goes inside along with his team, Linus was also giggling a bit at Ragnar's question while Asger was being serious as always, they glance around the house a bit. It was quite neat, even though a bit small, it felt even a bit smaller to him since he was used to living in a big house, though that had changed once he had gone adventuring, having been with his parents with a few days again brought the feeling back to him, it still seemed like a comfortable place to live though.

"Anyway, you study at the Magic Academy right? I was told that you're quite competent in both the art of magic and swordplay, you seem to be quite aware of that as well." he commented, giving a small chuckle.

In the meantime, Linus was flying around the place looking around for something interesting, though this time Ragnar was making sure he didn't cause a mess by staying close to him.

Sigurd watched Audric's little display with interest and once the tray came with many drinks, he gave a chuckle and picked one, though he didn't start drinking yet.

"Very nice!" he said, with a smile.

"<Huh, kinda cool.>" said Ragnar.

"Oh, I completely forgot to introduce myself, I'm Sigurd Larsen, pleased to meet you, Mr.Mant." he said, mentally punishing himself for forgetting his manners "About who recommended you... Well... It was King Afton himself, to be direct."

"<I was actually waiting for him to realize who he was talking to.>" said Ragnar, rolling his eyes a bit.

"That's me, yes, my family is still very famous around I see." said Sigurd, snickering a bit at Audric's reaction, though he was actually expecting it to happen, he soon became serious again "About the job, his Majesty summoned me to investigate the disappearances in Highstone Ring, I assume you know of it? In any case, the king requested that I reunited a small group to investigate what's going on in there, you were one of those which he recommended for me to recruit due to your skills with magic and swordmanship." he explained, stopping to drink a bit.

Linus was still looking around the place, blissfully unaware of the conversation going on, while Asger was right next to Sigurd and listening to everything.

"That's good to hear." said Sigurd, looking quite pleased, but then he started to get curious "Since you seem to be well familiar with me and my parents, I just wanted to ask: Did you study Divine magic under my mother, Cecilie Larsen?" he asked.

Linus then found one of the colorful books and started to "read" them while Ragnar was distracted with Sigurd and Audric.

"I see, then it must be you that I heard about from her, she did mention she was friends with one of the teachers whose son was also studying in the academy, it must've been you, I never heard your name from her though so I was just curious." said Sigurd, with a friendly smile

Saying that Linus got startled with the book would be a massive understatement as he dropped the book immediately and flew lightning fast to Sigurd, getting a strong hold on his arm and trembling in fear, much to his amusement

"Well, that will teach him." he said, chuckling a bit "In any case, I look forward to working with you, Mr.Mant."

"Right, in that case feel free to call me 'Sigurd'." he said, getting up form the chair he was sitting on, with Linus still holding on to him "I will take my leave now, it was a pleasure to talk with you, Audric."

He then starts heading out, along with his Pokémon.

"<I still think that guy is a girl.>" said Ragnar.

"<There is an easy way to solve your personal mystery, but I doubt you would be willing to do it.>" said Asger, rolling his eyes.

Viola: Your plants not growing fast enough? (holds out a vial of green potion) Perhaps what you need is this! Or maybe what you need is something that'll help you sleep at night? (holds out a vial of light blue potion) Then this might help! (holds out a vial of pink potion) And I'm not even sure what this one does, but it's piiiiiiink!

Cassidy: (sweatdrops) Viola, you're not going to bring in any customers by shouting out the window like that.

Viola: Hmm... But what if I used a potion on myself to make myself irresistable? Then I'm sure they'll come running! First, I need to make such a potion, though, and for that I need to find just the right ingredients... (looks over at Cassidy) Can I have some of your hair?

Cassidy: ... No.
